Things that go bump in the night.

A group of friends go out on a hike and come across a abandoned house. They get caught up with exploring it, and the next thing they know it's dark outside and as they look at their map they notice they have no clue where they are. What happens when they find out they're not the only ones in the house? Demons, ghosts, anything you can think of that goes bump in the night haunts it, for that's were a portal from the Other world to our world is opened to them. Will the group survive, or will the demons get them?

Straight black hair that brushes the middle of her back. She has bangs that brush the top of her black-rimmed glasses. Her eyes are a startling green that completely contrast with her pale skin.

James, Shelby, and the others hiked through the darkening woods, laughing and joking with each other. James unscrewed his water bottle and took a large drink from it and handed it to Shelby who also took a drink of it.

Guerrero had no trouble hiking, but Kairi struggled to keep up with him. "Can't you slow down?" She asked once and he only laughed and kept on hiking at his fast past. Guerrero tossed a water bottle down to Kairi, and it looked like she needed it. Kairi sighed. "So what's up here in these woods James?"

James shrugged. "It's just a great hiking place, and there's suppose to be a lake somewhere here that's suppose to be fun to swim in. I also here there's a 'haunted house' our here." He made air quotaions with his fingers as he walked backwards to talk to her before turning back around and moved a branch with thorns on it out of the way for them.

Mallory laughed. "James, it seems to me that you don't believe in the 'haunted' part of the house." She was breathing heavily, the shoes on her feet feeling as if they weighed a pound. Looking at her friends, she gave out a soft sigh as she leaned against a tree. "Pause!" she called. "I'm gunna die."

Jason looked over his shoulder, rolling his eyes playfully. "Really, Mal? This is the third time!" He was ahead of the others, easily trecking through the branches, leaves, and rocks. Hiking was something he had been doing since he was little.

Shelby shook her head and paused next to her. "I'm not taking another step, forget it!" She took another large drink of James's water then tossed him the empty waterbottle, causing him to give her a 'really?' look that she knew to well.

James sighed and put the empty bottle in his pack and stopped as well. "No, I don't believe in the haunted part. It's nothing but tales to keep people out of the house, and would you two quit being such...girls?"

Jason hurried back toward the group, giving Mallory his water canteen. "I agree with James. This is ridiculous." He looked up to the sky, making a face. "If we don't keep moving, it's going to get dark before we even hit the lake."

Mallory took a swig of the water, the cool liquid feeling like heaven as it ran down her throat. She stared at the two guys, her eyes narrowed behind her square framed glasses. "You two suck. We may be girls, but we could still kick your asses."

James broke out in laughter at that. "I'd love to see ya skinny ones try!" He winked before putting his pack back over his shoulders. "Now come on before I toss both of you guys over my shoulders." He turned and went back on the trail.

"Jerk." Shelby muttered before puting her pack back over her shoulder and sighing as she followed her brother. Her hazel green eyes were half way closed and she was beginning to really tire when she saw the 'haunted' house out in the distance. "Is that the house?"

Kairi rolled her eyes at the conversation. She was also tired and stopped with them, but would go when the guys did. Most saw her as breakable and she really wanted them to stop looking at her like that.

Guerrero spotted the house and a grin appeared on his face. He was always one for the haunted things and all that. "It'd better be. There's nothing else out here except trees," He replied, sounding like the girls when they complained just to annoy them.

James shrugged. "Lets take a look at it then, it looks very old, like Renisance old." He started walking that direction, Shelby running to keep up with him as she eyed the dark house in front of them.

Guerrero easily caught up with James, being a hiker himself. Kairi rolled her eyes and struggled along, her thin legs not having much strenght, unlike her arms. Guerrero grinned at the house. "The older the better."

"Haha, no kidding." James tentavily pushed down on the steps, making sure they'd hold for the others. He gained confidence when on the porche, but a spot broke under his foot but he jumped back in time and looked at the others. "One at a time and walk where I walk." He took it easy this time and opened the door, wrinkling his nose at the musty smell.

Kairi was pushed along by Guerrero, making her go first in case she fell. Kairi sighed at the smell of the old house and suddenly she felt her skin crawl. Guerrero loved the creepy feeling of the house but waited until everyone was ahead of him before going up the steps.

James walked into the house, the only light coming from the window. The shades on them was shredded, as though a lion had attacked them. A lone piano stood in the corner of the living room, looking grey from the thick layer of dust. A rush of cold ran along his back, as though a hand had just stroked him. He looked over his shadow, and thought he saw somthing move, but ignored it as he turned back to the others. "What ya guys think?"

Image- He has light brown hair with golden straks of blonde that go to his the top of his eyes. At his 6'0 height he normally looks down on people. His eyes are hazel with green and blue flecks thrown in there. He is always seen wearing the same black leather jacket and if you ask him why he will shrug and say why don't you wear one. Other than that he just wears jeans and solid T-shirts but you will sometimes see him wear shirts with saying he thinks is funny. He has a big cool looking dragon tattoo on his back and has olive toned skin. He is also lean with muscles.

"Looks pretty good to me." Guerrero stated, looking around at the very abandoned furniture. "Though the girls will probably be too scared." He suddenly got this weird feeling on the back of his neck and shuddered. Guerrero hoped no one saw that and stepped more into the room, examining the curtains.
