The Civil War

Dark times have come for characters, slowly characters are turning against one another and their authors. Battles appear at every turn. Fire consuming cities of innocent characters as the sky billows with ash and smoke.

Characters are sick of being treated wrongly and slowly, as they pull away from their authors, they find themselves weaker as words start to appear like markings, reminding them that without their authors they cannot fully exist and their days will be numbered.

Authors are at fault themselves as well, brain washing their own characters when they reappear close to death often punishing them severly, often feeling the need for a keeper or warden to maintain order. Is there no happy medium? When will the madness cease?
