Never grow up in Neverland

Tiger Lily: I roll my eyes and punch Peter's shoulder lightly. "Make it quicker next time. i actually thought they'd get away with us!"

Peter shrugged, "Hey, I gotta keep it exciting. The pirates would just give up if I beat 'em too easily every single time they tried something." He landed on the ground. In an uncharacteristically serious moment, he said, "Besides, you know I'd never let anything happen to you or anybody else in Neverland." Launching up onto a tree limb, he added, "Then there'd be no one for the pirates to kidnap for me to save!" Serious moment, for the most part, over.

Tiger Lily: "They'd never give up. They have nowhere else to go!" I say, reminding him.

"That's true," Peter conceded, "But they might just stop trying to kidnap you. And I suppose that would technically be a good thing. But it wouldn't be any fun. So that sorta defeats the good. And it's too confusing to go in detail so what say you we all go do something fun?"

Tiger Lily: I arch an eyebrow at his wordy response and laugh. "Sure, whatever. What've you got in mind?"

Bo: he quietly waited for a response.

Peter sat cross-legged and thought for a moment. What could they do for fun? What game could they play? So many things tumbled through his mind, it was hard to make sense of them all. Mermaids? Indians? Treehouses? Treasure Hunts?

Suddenly, a little boy popped out of hole in a hollow tree. "Peter!" he called out, "The mermaids are holding Curly and Slightly hostage!"

"Well, how about we go see the mermaids, then?" Peter suggested, looking at the others.

Tiger Lily: I pursse my lips. I hated the mermaids. And i was princess! They were too devious. Especially towards Peter. "Fine," i say, a bit snappish.

Bo: he grinned and nodded.

Chealsea snapped out of her...well, snappy mood, for just a second. "Mermaids?"

Peter looked looked at Chelsea, "Yeah, mermaids! They live in Mermaid Lagoon, and have fish tails, and everything." Upon hearing Tiger Lily's snappish comment, he remembered that she absolutely hated the mermaids. And the mermaids weren't particularly hospitable to anyone - except Peter, of course.

Oh well, he'd already suggested it, and besides, he couldn't leave Curly and Slightly to the (nonexistant) mercy of the mermaids. Floating down from the tree limb, he lead the way to Mermaid Lagoon.

Chealsea: she tried to keep a 'professional' outlook, but couldn't help be curious. Maybe a little excited. She swatted away tree branches and such in her way as she followed.

Tiger Lily: Seeing their devillish grins, I frown but continue to go. Curly and Slightly were my favorites, anyway.

Upon reaching Mermaid Lagoon, the four found most of the Lost Boys running around the perimeter, evidentally trying to get in, but terrified of being captured by the mermaids themselves.

Chealsea: she walked up to join the frenzy, trying to see into the water. "Where...?"

Tiger Lily: "Go on Peter," I say, though I didn't want him to. "Go get your boys, because we all know the mermaids love you."
