El Dia de los Muertos.

Death isn't all it's cracked up to be.

There is a thin line seperating the dead from the living. Most of the dead find that the after life holds neither heaven nor hell, but a place which rests on the line between imagination and reality.

In the human world, a the White Plague is destroying everything in it's path. Those who don't die are left with white eyes, a series of bruises on certain places, and a connection to the spirit world. Everyone has lost someone from either the plague or the madness the plague causes. But the survivors who still have their sanity in tact are able to see the spirit world.

In the spirit world, there is no color. Everything is a black and white version of earth. Some of the dead are forced to relive their deaths over and over again, refusing to believe they are dead. Others roam the land, unable to eat or drink. Stuck in a twisted reality where monsters roam and exaggerated dreams come to life.

The angels and demons, who aren't enemies but work together to keep the world in balance, try their best to keep the spirit and human worlds in order. But as the White Plague rages on and a mysterious spirit starts a war on the demons and angels, both groups will find that this is easier said than done.

Note:
Angels wear black extravagent clothing.
Demons wear white and have the most strange and animalistic features.
Both can be told apart from the spirits because their eyes or skin have color.

Some of the older spirits may look strange, twisted by their human memories, turned to skeletons or something in between.

Note: She is fierce and strong, but also slightly easy to manipulate. She refuses to admit her weaknesses and hates being dependent on people. She will usually push anyone away if they get close to her.

Note: She is Ambrosia's twin sister. She is very quiet and studies her surroundings well. She stays in her sister's shadow and likes it that way.

Note: He is completely sane. He doesn't have the White Plague and is healthy beyond belief. He lost his whole family to the White Plaque, none survived.

appearance: shiny auburn curls that fall to her waist, sparkling violet eyes, black sorceress' robe with gold trim and a sparkling black dress underneath, wears a silver circlet on her head
note: a little bit of a loner, but she's smart and pretty, and she has a temper. Can be nice, if you're nice to her.

Age: 20 (Making him younger than usual.)
Appearence: Messy black hair that usually hangs in front of his pure white eyes. Very pale, wears pure black clothing that conceals his scars and other imperfections. Tall.

Note: He uses a flute to communicate. Without it, he is unable to speak. It might seem odd, but it is no ordinary flute as it channels his thoughts and abilities he is unable to administer on his own. Once you are within 30 feet or less from him, the instrument's melodies are suddenly heard as his words. He's also able to make you hallucinate, and even control you, (physically, emotionally, or mentally) (through the flute, of course) although it takes a lot of energy and strength out of him to do so. Can do many other things that may or may not be revealed later.

He's very calm, always aware and reasonable, and always has been...not your average 20-year-old human male, even with the White Plague reeking havoc. He's a decent fighter on his own, it's definitely not advised to mess with him, either way. He's somewhat elusive and mysterious. He lost his younger brother and little niece to the plague, the only family he had left.

Notes: Kind of dependent, and quiet, but she has a good sense of right and wrong and stands up for what she believes in.
