Cirque de Charleviox

Hello and welcome to the Charleviox Circus, featuring acts both mystyfying and monstorous. The circus is run by our very own Lucien Charleviox. We feature all acts seen at a normal circus, but amplified for consumer satisfaction. Once you have seen our show, it will stay with you... forever.

To the circus comers, the Charleviox seems like a perfectly normal.. Wait, extrodinary circus. They feature every act imaginable, but it's appearances aren't all they're cracked up to be. The big top is under a thick glamour, produced by Lucien. Customers might be frightened if they knew where they were without it, so what's the harm? After working in the circus for a while, the glamor is invisible to you, but you still have to act like it is there. Now, as I have mentioned before... Stay a while.

Other: He started the Cirque when he was 17 and has a bad habit of nabbing crowd members with "potential." Some say he is magic, some say he's just very persuasive. No one has really gotten close enough to him to know. Not even Capria.

Other: She has an odd relationship with Lucien that some can't decipher. They aren't sure if it's romantic or like family. Frankly, some are creeped out by it. She doesn't take any crap, independent, loyal to the Cirque. She gets into fights sometimes, for being too loyal to Lucien.

Looks: Long, curly blonde hair, usually tangled up, plump pink lips, pale skin, light blue eyes. Angelic features.
In the Cirque? If yes, job: No, but a huge fan of it. Has been going, all alone, since she was 3.
Other: Has no family. No one ever sees her outside the show, and for going so long, it's starting to change her, somehow.

Bahahahaha... Lucien has his sights set already.

The soft brown Teddy bear was wet from the rain. I clutched it to my chest, hair plastered to my back, wet and tangled.

"Now, aren't you sweet? Cute as a button! Do you have your tickets?"

Silence. The lady at the desk clicked her pen on the wood.

"I see... Lucien left me a note about you. Says you can get in anyways. Aint that sweet?"

I blinked, my face still like a statue.

She gave me an uneasy smile, her tight peach skin flushed. She ushered me in through the doors.

I sat at the back, farthest away, unnoticed, hidden by shadows.

Just me and Teddy. I fixed my hollow blue eyes on the stage.

Annabella - I walked into the cirque for the first time. I was nervous, my friends all ditched me, so I was all alone for the first time in a while. I felt my heels sinking into the ground and took them off. So much for going dancing afterwards I thought to myself. Not that I was particularly looking forward to dancing, too many people that I could see die, at least in my head. I hated my "gift".

Lucien: The lights started and I walked onto the center stage, Capria on my arm, grinning wildly. "Welcome, patrons, to the Cirque de Charlevoix! Please stay seated because what you are goinlg to witness will push the boundaries of your mind." I locked eyes with a girl in the first row, a girl with raven black hair, and gave her a smirk before disappearing back stage. The trapeze artists began short after.

Annabella - I shifted in my seat uncomfortable with my surroundings. I wished I could get up and leave right then. "Breathe," I whispered to myself as I fidgeted with my dress. I watched the act and tried to calm down. I would be fine unless I had a vision. It wasn't like anyone here knew what I could do, or knew me at all for that matter. Sure, the ringmaster had smirked in my direction, but whatever. He probably wasn't even aware that I was "special", there was no possible way he could know that! I was being paranoid, like always. I got up and went outside the tent trying to get away from the crowd. I needed to be alone. I felt the vision coming on faster and faster. The world went away and I was dragged into the tale of a little boy's horrid murder. He was being stabbed multiple times. Again and again. I screamed out as the blood covered and suffocated him. He looked to be only six, maybe seven. The murdered laughed as he took his dying breath. I was trapped in the vision as I watched another one killed.

Lucien: I watched from the side as the show continued. The girl I had seen before looked pained, her lips tight. I wanted to go out and confront her. She was special, magical almost. She was just like me, aside from the male parts (hopefully.)

Anna - I snapped out of the vision and tried to stop the tears from rolling down my cheeks. There were two options I had: ignore the vision, try and save them and end up getting killed myself. I had always done the first one, but this time I was torn. That poor boy. I saw the ringmaster and gasped. "What are you doing watching me?" I asked angrily.

Lucien: I was shcoked. "You mean you can't tell?" I asked. "I know you have a... gift," I said softly.

Anna - I froze. "Don't call it that!" I told him harshly. "It's anything but a gift. It's a curse!"

Lucien: I nodded. "I can see why you think that, but mixed with my talents, you could prevent anything you see and the sky would be the limit," I said.

Anna - I froze again, "What do you mean mixed with your talents?" I asked warily.

Lucien: "You can see the future, to an extent.... I have means to control the future. That's what I mean. If you join my cique, I can help you."

Anna - Oddly enough I didn't turn him down immediately. it was an enticing offer. "I can't join your cirque," I say. "I have no talents."
