Murders in the air

Damien: "Um, are you okay?" I came to Elliot and rubbed the back of my neck, uncomfortable with dealing with sad people.

Elliot: I had sunk down to my knees, staring ahead, my breathing shaky. I scruched my eyes shut and shook my hed, before standing up. I hugged my arms around myself and moved to lean against a wall.

Damien: I rocked on my heels awkwardly, hmmm. I studied her for a moment, then wrapped an arm around her shoulders...that was what people did in these types of situations, right?

Amelia: I stared at the body then shook my head, turning to leave the room. I pushed my room mate out of the gym gently and closed the doors. "We should leave it as is until someone of authority can get here." I said softly, shaking slightly.
"Did you not hear me? No one of authority can get to us. The only bridge here is broken, and the waters are to harsh to sail on!" one of the guys said to me. I fought back tears that wanted to come.

Jessie: I leaned against the stairs, my expression neutral. Anyone who was anyone knew that my parents were famous, and had been murdered. All of them should know why this would affect me, though I was doing a convincing show of uncaring.

Ty: I shook my head at the red head girl and crossed over to Jessie. "You doing alright?" I asked.

Jessie: "What do you think?" I asked evenly, just wanting him to bug off, even though I acted calm, cool, and collected.

Ty: "Whats with you and the thinking questions? Maybe i dont want to think." I half joked, trying to get her to smile, attempting to have a bright side to this situation.

Jessie: "Ha. Ha." I flicked my eyes, a move kind of like an eye roll, but not as obvious.

Ty: "I half expected you to do something similar to Elliot and freak out." I addmited, watching her carefully.

Jessie: "It is what it is," I smiled, though it was tainted with sadness. "If we only have a little to live, then I'm not going to spend the entire time crying like I just lost my teddy bear."

Ty: "Good to know you are emotionally stable." I nodded.

Jessie: I laughed slightly, and bitterly, raising my eyebrows at him. "You know, you're not half-bad at cheering people up."

Elliot: I shook my head. "I'm fine, just scared," I said quietly. "You don't have to do that. I can tell you don't want to," I said.

Kal: I just walked outside, keeping my hands in fists and my arms on my sides, my mouth in a tight line.

Damien: I cracked a smile. "Who says I don't want to?"

Ty: "ADHD at work. I cant keep my thoughts on something depressing, so my short attention span puts - gum?" I asked offering a piece to her. "Wait...taht wasnt what i was going to say." I back tracked my thoughts. "RIght, ADHD...puts a good spin on almost everything that comes out of my mouth."

Jessie: I took the piece of gum in amusement, and for some strange reason had this urge to kiss him. But I didn't. I just blinked, where had that urge come from? "Good spin...I guess. Maybe ADHD doesn't make everything unattractive."

Ty: I beamed at her. "Should we meet the other kids? Figure out who we will be stuck here with?" I offered, nodding over to the other kids in teh hall.

Jessie: His smile made me smile, another confusing thought. I nodded and turned away, almost as if I were afraid that he'd notice my conflicting feelings. I started over to a group of kids.

Elliot: i looked up at him, a small smile perking up my lips. "Did you want to?" I asked.

Amelia: "Ummm...You ok?" I asked kal, walking over to his side.

Ty: "To the others we go. We are off to meet our peers, the wounderful peers of this school..." I jokingly sang to the tune 'Off to see the wizard'.

Jessie: I laughed, the sound of tinkling glass, and sang along with him as we neared the others.

Damien: "Yeah." I grinned.

Ty: I smiled as she laughed. I knew that this was a suck situation, that we shouldnt be lauging or smiling, but i couldnt help it. She brought out a smile in me.

Jessie: "Hi ya'll," I waved as we came to the little group, who just looked at us solemnly.

Kal: I turned to her. "Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine," I said brusquely.

Elliot: i smiled a little as a few other people came up to us. "Hello," I said, accutely noticing Damien's arm on my shoulders.
