Jake- "What're you writing?" I ask, completely curious.

I put my finger to my lips "Shh, it's a surprise" Then I kept sketching, occasionally erasing something, or adding text. I smiled "Perfect"

Jake- "Your smile is contagious... and cute," I say smiling at her. "So can I see it now?"

Elli
My smile widened. He never really used to say things like that to me, I mean, occationally, but... "No, not yet. But it's going to be a great party. I just need some time..." I thought about it for a second "I need to call Sam" Sam was the resident nerd, though not in the uber geeky kind of way. She was pretty cool, actually

Jake- I pull out my phone and set it on the table next to her so she can use it.

"Thanks, I still haven't gotten another phone from that creek incident" I admit, referring to something that happened over a year ago. I sent her a lengthy text, then looked up at Jake "The party's at five, storage until B"

Jake- "We'll have to fix that problem,"I say. "It's only twelve right now so we have five hours before the party starts."

*creeps in* Are Lockie and/or Zach invited to the party?

Jake- "I don't doubt that," I smile.

Zach- I wake up to a text from Jake. Party at five!! -Jake and Elli I didn't know if Lockie had gotten it too so I forward it to her. Wanna come with me? Jake and Elli throw the best parties. FWD: Party at five!! -Jake and Elli

Lockie: I grinned down at the text. Hells to the yeah!

"Want to know what it's about?" I was going to keep it a secret, but we're Jake AND Elli for a reason. Plus he might have some good ideas

Zach- Cool. Meet me in the courtyard later?

Jake- "Yeah I wanna know," I laugh.

Lockie: Sure, and it's casual, right?

Zach- Yup.

"Okay, bare with me here... a Phoenix. Weird, I know, but there's going to be fire, and dim lighting, and awesome music"

Lockie: Cool, see ya then!

Jake- "Sounds cool. Where do we need to start with everything?"

"First we need to get Sam and bring her over to the warehouse, and she'll get started on all the technical crap while you and I decorate and plan"
