Lola: I wore sunglasses, even in the darkness. It may have made it hard to see, but it made me look like I was in hiding. And if there were any Paparazzi sneaking around, they'd love a story like that. I hoped they found me.

Betty: "We want the funk! Ya gotta have that funk- ow! Na na na na na-" The radio suddenly goes staticy and we start to groan. I'm hanging out with some of the people I'd met on the street, mainly hippies and homeless people. Moon Man furrows his brow and kicks the radio. When it starts going again, we all cheer. I start dancing around and end up bumping into someone. Ni hear something crack beneath my feet and I jump back. Sunglasses?

Lola: My eyes narrowed at the hippy. "Those were designer."

Bette: I frown lopsidedly. "I don't really think I'm a hippie, miss," I say softly as I look down at my clothes. "But those were still cute glasses, so I guess I do owe you an apology."

Lola: I was almost positive I hadn't said the hippy bit allowed - nevertheless. I tapped my stiletto-clad foot. "Well, say it then."

My editor had sent me to get some pictures of a party, standered stuff, really. I got there and snapped a few pics of a girl breaking another girl's sunglasses, but it was pretty boring

Bette: "I'm sorry," I say easily. A few cars honk at the people in the street but Moon Man just turns up the music. I gingerly pick up the glasses and turn them over. "Where's you get these from anyway?"

Lola: "Paris, on a photo shoot," I sniffed, crossing my arms.

Bette: One lens has shattered into a thousand pieces, but the frames are still in tact. Great for a scupture. I grin and put them on. "Why don't you come dance?"

Lola: I wrinkled my nose as I looked past her. "No thanks."
