Welcome to the Year 3213

"You're clearly not an apple... I think. These swirling colours make it hard to tell."

Ray: I look down at my clothes. "Well, I'm not too colorful."

"Heh. Not to you, anyway."

(Dinner. XD)

Ray: I roll my eyes. "Only you would think so."

((Getting late for me, bye!))

(Ack! I haven't been on in so long! I'm just gonna squeeze myself back in here.)

Albert
I could hear the screams emanating from Her Majesty's torture chambers. The sounds of pain and terror, they were music to my ears. I allowed a devilish smile to cross my face as I turned on my heel to leave. Now it was time to go home to my pregnant wife. I hoped for a boy, but she would prefer a girl. If she produced another girl, I would have to steal one of the peasants' boys for myself. Of course, my Ranella might not agree with kidnapping a young boy. No, she would never argue with me, I'd put her in her place the last time.

Ethyl
I noticed Jason and a few of the others coming back to my makeshift home (which was really no more than a large section of the tunnel that blocked off by a wall of dirt, with a stick 'door' to get in and out) and smiled pleasantly. The children here were so wonderful, especially seeing what they'd been through. Many of them didn't have parents anymore, either because their parents were still aboveground, or they'd been murdered by the Queen's order. I hobbled into my little home and laid out the old blankets on everyone's cot. Raychelle and Jason had wanted to sleep in the same cot, but that just wasn't proper, so I separated their blankets. I was not a complete prude, so I allowed them to sleep in the cots next to each other.

Jason: I walked silently with Skipper and Ray as we made it to Ethyl's house. When we got there I decided to run ahead and tell Ethyl about her company, it would be rude just to walk in on her with a load of people. "Ethyl!" I called. "Hey, Ethyl, where are you?"

Ray: I watch him run off. "Well, I guess the faster we get there the better."

Ethyl
I could hear Jason's shouting, and went back out into the kitchenette to greet him. "Hi, Dear, I was just making the beds. You and your friends can come on in."

Ray: I would've gone in anyway, but I guess it would be nice to have an invitation.

(Oops, I just realized Adacia never answered Damien. I'll get on that...)

Adacia
I inhaled deeply, then exhaled. I kicked at the dirt at my feet and mumbled, "I want to be special. I want you to think I'm special. But you don't, do you? I mean there are a lot of options for you down here, and I'm not exactly a supermodel...."

(S'okay. XD)

Damien: "Adacia, there's got to be a reason why you're special. I can't just see someone and instantly think they're special."

Jason: "Alright," I said. I turned to motion for Ray and Skip to come in, but they had already shouldered their way into Ethyl's home. "How have you been Ethyl?" I asked the old woman. I idly looked around for Sierra, but she was nowhere in sight.

Ray: Not being asked to sit, I find some kind of fluffy carpet and sit down crosslegged, watching Jason.

Adacia
Sighing, I rephrased, "Okay, not special special, just...I want you to like me. I mean, like me." Damien didn't say anything for a few moments, and I wondered if I'd said too much. Lying was something that was taught here, but it was also taught that we shouldn't lie to the other Rebels, so telling the truth to the Rebels came naturally to me.

Damien: I hesitate. "Adacia...I can't just all of the sudden like you. I mean...god, I don't know how to say this." I swallow. "I don't believe in love."

Adacia
I was taken aback by his comment. Who doesn't believe in love? It's the purest, most beautiful thing in the world! "Don't believe in love? Why not? Love surrounds us. You love your sister, don't you? And I love Ethyl and Seymour and Ray and everyone down here. How can you not believe in love?!" I questioned.

Damien: "No, I'm protective of Ray. I feel sympathy for Seymour and Ethyl."

(Switching to third person.)
Sierra heard voices so she emerged from her bedroom. She wasn't able to get to asleep anyway. She went to the living room and saw Jason standing there. "Jason!" she said, "You're finally here."
Jason turned toward the familiar voice. "Hey, Sierra," he said. "Yeah, we got here. It took long enough." Jason walked toward her and whispered in her ear, "Is the bedroom empty?" When Sierra nodded he said, "Good, the only person I'm going to let in there for the next hour is myself."
Sierra giggled at that and let him pass her.

Ray: I raise an eyebrow but just shrug it away.

Sierra turned towards the other person in the house. "Um...Skip? Isn't it?" she said to the, well, more of a monster type person.

Adacia
I pinched the bridge of my nose, agitated. "You wouldn't feel so protective of her if you didn't love her. Love is everywhere, you can't fight it." I yawned. "You know, it's getting late anyway, I gotta go." As I turned on my heel and exited the tunnel, I mumbled under my breath, "Weirdo."

Damien: I sigh, looking after her.

Ethyl
I awoke to muffled voices where a couple of the kids were sleeping. I slipped out of my cot and into my raggedy slippers, then hobbled down to where the teens were. I whispered, "Kids? What are you doing in there? It's late, go to sleep!"
