I walk home, satisfied with the attention I got.

Sven: "Water is life," croons the voice. "Its the very foundation of all that exists. For what is man without water?" "Nothing!" yells a group of people. "Nothing!" the man repeats. "He is nothing but dust and deca-" The fruit vender suddenly shuts the radio off and I jump. As he cleans another apple, he nods towards the ancient looking thing. "Can you believe that pile of rubbish?"

Silvestra:
Walking past a fruit vendor, I hear the speech on the radio. I shake my head. "What is with them? Oil is necessary for anything! We use oil, which can't be used for anything else, but they use drinking water! What happens when there's a drought?"

Sven: What happens during a drought? She /has/ to be kidding. Eighty percent of the water nation is coastland and saltwater can be used much the same way as drinking water. Not to mention that water is everywhere- in the sky, underground, in people. Somehow, I doubt we'll run out anytime soon. "Oil will most likely run out first," I say quietly.

Silvestra:
I look at the boy. "Don't you want water to run out? That way, our nation can crush theirs."

Sven: I snort. "I'm not an idiot. I'm only stating my opinion." If the water nation does ever run out, all we have to do is send in more spies and run the country dry.

Silvestra:
I shook my head. "The country relies too much on spies."
