7 Minutes In Heaven

Therisa
"Pfft! Not hardly. I'm not even sure why I'm here."

Laura
"Oh. Well I didn't want to come but I knew I couldn't not show up either. You can't look weak after a breakup ya know?"

Therisa
"Eh, not really. Never been in a relationship, you see. I can imagine, though."

Laura
"Your lucky. I would do almost anything to get rid of all the relationship drama in my life."

Therisa
"In some ways, I guess I am lucky," I agreed. "But there's still this nagging curiosity, y'know? Like, what does it feel like?" I was surpised I was saying these things so openly. I barely knew this girl.

Bekka: "Not the planner, more like the smart alpha. It's not planning, it scheming," I laugh.
I run my hand along the ends of the dress.
"See any hotties tonight?"

Rome: He seemed like the guy who kept to himself. Feeling judged a bit, I said, "If you're not gonna take up any chicks, what /are/ you going to do here?"

Laura
"It feels like you always have to be perfect, like even though you're already with the person, you still have to impress them or they'll leave you," I sigh. One slip up on the pyramid during practice and you get dumped. Wait why am I telling her this I don't know her that well.

Therisa
"Yeesh. Maybe I don't want it, then. Still, that doesn't sound like the kind of love I've heard of. It's more like fake love, no?"

Ally
I look around, sipping my champaine. "There's Rome. And Nate. Some drunk, some frosh, Mark, that Pierce boy...." I giggle. "So many to choose from, don't you agree?"

Laura
"Fake love? What do you mean by fake love?"

Therisa
"Well, the way I see it, you shouldn't have to impress the person you're with just to get them to stay with you. I mean, it's not real love if the person would leave you in a heartbeat, is it? Just, from what I heard, when you're in love, it's like the person you're with is perfect in every way. Like, you can't even see their flaws. But maybe that's just an idealised version of love."

Bekka: I giggled a low giggle and nodded my head, silver blue eyes scanning the area.
"Whatever. Number one rule, /they/ approach /you/, if you talk to them first, you're too desperate. Look hot and they swarm."
I stand beside her and take that moment to flip my curls, a few eyes darting my way, but flickering back. Ugh, so lame. I wasn't interesting enough right now to deserve their attention? Wait until Rosetta gets the hair dye bomb.

Laura
"Well I don't know about any of that because I've, honestly, never been in love. I've never told anyone I loved them either. I mean aside from my parents."

Therisa
"The same goes for me. The only things I know about it I've read in books and stuff...and I really don't read too much romance." I gave a short laugh.

Laura
"I don't really like romance because of the false idealism of love and relationships. It's so overrated. I can't stand it," I tell her, sounding smarter than most of the cheerleaders on the squad.

IDK if Kendall should talk to Kal or not. I mean, he's completely turned off romance, though, right?

"Of course, i know," I giggle. "It's fine. Have some champaine, doll. Relax a little. Want to dance a bit? I doubt Rosetta will be down any time soon. She'll have to make sure every fold of her dress stays put."

Mike
"I'm Mike, Nice to see a new face." I say.

Therisa
"Ah, same here. And I just hate the really implausible love crap that goes on. Like, dare I say it, Twilight." For my next words, I mimicked a ridiculously high-pitched girl's voice. "'Oh no, I have these two hot, immortal boys, both willing to cater to my every whim and even sacrifice themselves for me, fighting over me and trying to display their undying love! Whatever shall I dooo?'" My voice reverted to normal. "Seriously, stupidest thing. Oh, you don't like Twilight, do you? 'Cause that would be awkward."

Laura
"No. It's so unrealistic. In so many ways. I burned the book that my sister had. Mean but I couldn't help myself."

Bekka: "Don't forget every fold of fat, as well. I'm sure she'll wear something in doll pink. Hell yes to a drink, vodka please."
I walk over and take her hand to follow, pouring myself a small glass of orange juice and vodka.
"Seriously, this part is way too tame. No stripping, no guys. We should so start a game, but I wanna flirt a bit first, maybe tease a bit," I laugh, drinking the drink and feeling a buzz.

Therisa
"Ahaha! I like the way you think! Ah, Twilight. A girl's choice between necrophilia and beastiality."

Laura
I laugh. "I'm glad we started talking. I've never told anybody the truth about how I feel about all the romance stuff. I have to put up a fake front for the squad ya know? It sucks sometimes but I love what I do."
