Nate shrugged. In a way, he was lucky not to have the burden of someone watching over him, of having to watch over someone else. But she did... She always seemed to be worrying bout him, asking about him.

Bishop held the light at the girl in the cage, kneeling down and looking straight at her. She looked fairly mellow, I mean, for a hybrid. He sighed clicked the light a few times.

K25 watches him with half opened eyes, her red eyes meeting his. Her expression blank like his, they study each other.

Bishop decided to sit cross legged in front of her cage. "Do you have a name?" He asked and heard Aysha scoff behind him. "Don't even think she has a brain. All she does is sit there," she said.

Her eyes go to the girl behind him, silent a moment. "K2-5."

"Well K25, I'm Bishop," he said. Aysha sighed and left the room, shaking her head and he caught 'mental' under her breath. He smiled a little. "So... You're a Gray?" His question was slightly rhetorical, but she might be of use for intel.

K25 cocks her head at his new expression. "I am a...Gray..."

Bishop nodded and leaned against the table. She had to be at least past human. Most Grays had a full human brain, but they were enhanced with... With robotics, clockwork. "Yes, you are indeed a Gray."

"I've already confirmed that." She crosses her arms and gives him an irritable look.

Bishop let out a laugh. "And she finally gives emotion," he whispered under his breath, sounding slightly dazed. "What do you remember bout your previous surroundings?" he asked, going onto a limb.

K25 looks away. "Classified," she says quickly, not meeting his eyes.

Bishop let out a sharp noise and shook his head. "What you don't understand, little Gray, is that you aren't going back, so you should just give me the information I want."

"K2-5," she simply says. "Not 'little Gray'." She looks back to him, an amused look in her eyes. "Do with me what you wish, Antiquity. I am expendable."

Bishop shook his head and went to his desk, pulling a probe-like object from it and turning a switch, little waves of blue electricity ran along the piece and he walked back over. It would kill or really hurt much, but it was a shock.

K25 eyes it passively, falling back and lying on the floor of her cage. "I do not feel anything. They took fear away."

Bishop chuckled and nodded. "I'm sure it's not gone. Actually, I /know/ it's not, but heavily supressed, probably." He paused looking at her and mimicking her expression.

K25 sighs, closes her eyes. "I do not think you want to shock me, Bishop."

Bishop looked at her curiously. "And why is that, K2-5?" He asked. It was a little odd hearing his name, for normally, he wasn't called anything.

K25 shrugs, looks away. "You see me as human. I am human...but...more than human as well." Her expression turns confused. She rolls to her side and avoids his gaze.

Bishop smiled a little. "Surely you don't think me as arrogant. I know, not fully perhaps, as to what you are." He scooted back and slid the probe across the floor, letting the gravel scrape at the chrome.
