Basically how I imagined Nate

Nate raised an eyebrow. "You were rambling," he chuckled. The word London brought back so many good memories. "I was twelve," he said, his lip quirking up into a half smile.

Did you reply to skylar?

"Yeah, I know. I tend to do that when I'm....." Aria trailed off. She was about to say "nervous," but she couldn't let Nate know that she felt anxious. "Ah, got it. But you still understand what you mean about not getting away? What do you mean? And how was London? Sorry, I"m asking a lot of questions."

"London was, erm, rainy.. But it was nice, I guess. I rather like it here, though. I've met a lot of cool people," he said. "And thinking about it, I suppose I don't know about not getting away as well as you," he smiled half heartedly.

Luke?

Luke shrugged. "S'not that bad," he said.

Skylar
I laughed lightly. Boys. "I love how you can see the constellations out here. Not city lights to get in the way."

"Eh, they're just stars," Luke said, looking up unimpressed.

"Yeah, I've heard that about London. I've always wanted to visit. And no, no. I'm sure you do. I just wasn't sure how. But you can tell me if you would like," said Aria, returning Nate's smile.

Nate shrugged, and brushed past her, looking over the shelves and finding a few more books. "I'm going back this summer," he said quietly.

Aria looked over to where Nate was standing. "You are? Really? Are you...I don't....how do you feel about that?" Aria was confused at Nate's expression. He seemed more...what was the word....distant? sad?....at the prospect of visiting London. Shouldn't he be happy?

Nate shrugged. "It thinks all fine, but I only think that," he said.

"Oh, huh, I see. Maybe I can come with you!" Aria joked.

Skylar:
I rolled my eyes at him. "Fine, luke, why are you out here if you dont enjoy the stars?" I asked.

The lake glittered intensely and Luke nodded out to it. "Thats why," he said.

Nate chuckled and shrugged. "If you want," he said.

"the pound is amazing." I nodded.

"Wait, seriously??" Aria asked, surprised, "I mean, I was joking. But if I actually can, that would be cool...."

(What time of year is this RPG during? Like, winter, summer, spring, etc.? Just curious.)

(Alright, cool. So, like, December or something?)

something like that, yeah. Just cold and snowy basically....the time of year where you would see the aura lights.

Nate chuckled, almost inperceptibly. "No, I wasn't joking. London is so much better with another person," he smiled.

Luke just nodded, his eyes trained on the distance. "Yeah."

I stood up and walked to the edge of the frozen pond, taking a step onto the ice. It seemed safe enough to walk on.

Luke straughtened, hearing an inperceptible crack and then he stood and the crack got louder. "Sky!" He called as the ice broke.

I turned to Luke as he shouted my name. The ice broke under me, and of course, I screamed as I fell into the cold water.
