what happens in college

Brea: Someone told me I had a new table to wait on, and I sighed as I saw who it was. I went over and pretended like I didn't know him. "I'm your server for today..." I would feel stupid if I said my name. "Do you know what you want to drink?"

Adam: I smiled. "Hi, Brea. Fancy seeing you here."

Brea: "mmhmm, so no drink then?" I ignored the comment.

Adam: "I'm not ordering anything until you come eat with me."

Brea: "I'm working, no can do."

Adam: "I'll wait until you're done."

Brea: "If you don't order anything, I can get the manager to kick you out when we get busy."

Adam: "I'll order something later."

Brea: "Why can't you just leave me alone?"

Stella: I smiled. "So are you. So why don't we go out to eat or see a movie or something?"

Adam: "Because you're schmexy, and I like it."

Eric: "Sounds good to me."

Brea: I rolled my eyes.

Adam: "You're stuck with me."

Brea: "Just order something, please."

Adam: "Will you sit down with me if I order something after you're done working?"

Brea: "No. Give up already."

Adam: "Why? Come on..."

Brea: I sighed. "Fine. If you wait until the end of my shift..." He never said how long I'd have to sit with him, so...that was good.

Adam: "You'll sit here and share something with me, right? Make it worth my time."

Brea: "Sitting here isn't enough?"

Adam: "We can talk about this later. Don't you need to work?"

Brea: "Don't tell me what to do," I grumbled. But I DID have to work, so I went and waited on my other tables.

Adam: I pulled a notebook out and started observing people. I jotted some notes down for my psychology study.

Brea: When my shift was over I wrote down that I was off, then went back to Adam's table.

Adam: I'd made two pages of notes. When Brea came, I scribbled some notes about her down really quickly before shutting the book.
