The Way of Kings

There are many different people in the country of Alethkar. There are the slow witted and strong Parshmen with there red black and blue skin. The noble lighteyes. The strong willed darkeyes. There is also an entirely different class of people, the Shardbearers. The ones who by shear force of will summon Shardbaldes, blades that cut any inanimate object and kill by severing the soul from a human body. There are also the Soulcasters, those that use the wrist band known as the Soulcaster to use different gemstones for magic. In Alethkar eye color is everything, if you are a lighteyes blue, green, yellow, you can wield a sword, become a noble or own a Soulcaster. Only lighteyes can wield Shardblades. If you are a darkeyes, dark green, brown, black, or red, you may only wield knives and spears and there is no chance of being a noble.

The country is in constant conflict with the Parshendi, translated it means Parshmen that can think. There are Shardbearing Parshendi as well. In this conflict only one country will come out on top and defeat the other. Which side will you choose?

(Sorry I didnt reply lol, I guess I should have explained Soulcaster in more detail, a Soulcater is the name for the person who uses the magic that a bracelet also called a Soulcaster converts from gemstones so Conor couldnt really own her unless she was a slave but a slave wouldnt be allowed a Soulcaster)
