The Arabesque Machine

Kayleb: "She doesn't act like it."

Alison: I shrugged. "Well you should go after her."

Kayleb: "Uh...how about no?"

Alison: I held my hands up in defeat. "Alright then."

Kayleb: "Good," I said. "now what?"

Alison: "I dont know... now that the director is dead I guess I have nothing to do.." I said with a sigh. I started to hum a song.

Kayleb: "You could try to rehearse anyway."

Alison: I nodded "But I have been praticing my dancing all the time.."

Kayleb: "Then...dance..."

Alison: I sighed and took off my shoes and my long skirt. I had my dancing skirt underneither and I began to dance to music in my head.

Kayleb: I continued some cleaning.

Alison: I danced and danced. I started to giggle like a child.

Kayleb: I continued cleaning.

Alison: I did a jump and spin but twisted my ankle on the way down. "Ouch." I said quietly.

Kayleb: I thought I heard something and paused.

Alison: I groaned and looked at my ankle. "Why do I always get hurt?" I asked mainly to my self. I tried to get up but fell. "Just great." I muttered.

Kayleb: "Alison?" I called. "Is that you?"

Alison: "Yes..." I said loudly. I started to rub my ankle.

Kayleb: "What happened?"

Alison: "I was dancing and twisted my ankle." I said.

Kayleb: "Oh...should I get more ice?"

Alison: "No I think I can.." I tried to stand but fell. "I give up... no ice though thank you."

Kayleb: "Maybe you should rest."

Alison: "I think that too." I said as I laid down. My heart was beating like crazy.

Kayleb: "Need help getting down?"
