Rome: I sighed, feeling the ends of her hair on her back.
"Why don't we-"
And I stop. I was going to ask her to go to my bed . . . But having sex with Ally the first night seemed to make her cheat the next day. Maybe I should take this slow.
"Jen, maybe we should actually get to know each other first. I've never ever cared about knowing a girl, but I want to try. With you."

Jen: That caught me off guard. Guys didn't like to 'get to know me' they liked to get to know my lips. And body. He probably said the same thing to every girl, actually. It was probably an effort to get in my pants, which I wanted him to do, anyway... I traced his lips with my finger. "I don't do the whole long-term thing, Rome, don't you know that?"

Rome: It was so incredibly tempting to rip her clothes off and kiss her fiercely, but I held myself back.
"Why don't we try, Jen? Have you ever tried? I haven't. And I think it would be interesting . . ."
More like a challenge to see how long I could hold without banging someone so willing and ready all the time and make sure I didn't cheat.

Jen: I sighed, leaning away from him.
"Why'd I have to be the unlucky one that you actually are going to try and keep?"
All the other girls got action right away.

Rome: "So you consider being with me at all is a bad thing?" I laugh lightly.
I'm considering ditching this long term thing. Jen is looking very incredibly hot, she's got a tiny red sauce spot on her chin that I'm tempted to lick, which would lead me to her lips . . .

Jen: "No, being with you would be..." I smirked, not even going to finish the sentence. "But for a long time? And we have to 'get to know each other' before we do anything?" That'd be hard, I usually got to make out at least twice a week.

Rome: I exhale slowly. Asking the slut to go into a serious relationship, ditch her ways? I was asking for drama.
"Know what? This was stupid anyways. I'm sorry for making you deal with me, whatever," I grumble.

Jen: I was silent for a moment.
Didn't every girl want a hot guy to ask for a real relationship with her?
I was being stupid.
I could quit being a slut for a little while, give this a try, at least.
"I...I changed my mind. I'll give it a try if you still want to, Rome."

Rome: I raise my eyebrows, smirking.
"Really? No, Jen, all we wanted to do was have sex, it was ridiculous to try for something more. I don't know what I was even thinking because I don't even know you."

Jen: My stomach twisted, a knot of being upset.
I don't get upset over guys.
What was going on?
I bit my lip and slid off the stool. "You're right, you don't. I guess that would be where the whole 'getting to know' part would come in. Nevermind. Bye."

Rome: I grunt, frustrated.
"Jen, I know you don't care about getting to know me, don't bullshit me! All you wanted was sex, don't try and make me feel bad like an ass!" I growl.
What a girl thing to do. She said all she wanted to do was take off her clothes, and when I ask to get to know her, she acts totally not interested, until I wave her off. And then she decides she's changed her mind to try and make me look like some sort of whore!

Jen: I batted my eyelashes innocently. "It's not my fault you did the same thing, changing your mind."

Rome: "Yeah, maybe I did, but that was before you came. I'd already decides that before dinner, and I didn't try to guilt you either."
Great, now the mood was ruined, we were already arguing before any action happened at all.

Jen: I sighed. "I really did want you. But I guess I can't have you." Ha, like I would actually give up that easily. No, this was just the start.

Rome: "Haven't we gone over this? I'm not looking for another one-night-stand, they just get me nowhere. Maybe since all I know about you is that you're just as eager and careless as I am makes me want to know more than what its like to be in your pants, Jen."
I wonder what changed me for a moment, and the answer comes to me seconds later. Ally.

Jen: I gulped. "Okay," I said quietly and turned on my heel to leave.

Rome: "Wait, wait! Jen, if you've changed your mind, why are you going?" I laughed lightly and brought my other arm around her torso.

Jen: "Because you said I was just being manipulative," I said, giving him a puppy dog face, as I turned around in his arm, so I was facing him.

Rome: "If you want to try," I brushed a cluster of hair that had stuck to her glossy lips, "can you stay?"
I realized how close we were . . . Kissing was fine, right?

Jen: "Mmhmm." I caught his hand when he touched my face, keeping his fingers on my lips. I smirked. "So how do we start this getting to know thing?"

Rome: "Get to know each other like me taking you to dinner, dates and being public with you. Form a relationship, yada yada."
I smiled happily at her, "This could work if we try, you know."

Jen: I sighed and let his hand drop. "Okay." I nodded. "Does tonight count?"

Rome: "Do you mean, ditch long-lasting relationship for a night, have sex and tomorrow never talk to me? Not happening, sweetie," I laughed lowly and met her twinkling eyes.
Lightly, I kissed her lips, slowly feeling a current rushing inside me, eyebrows spreading back and muscles loosening.

Jen: "No, I meant does it count as our first...date?" I murmured pulling back just a tiny bit from the kiss to ask.

Rome: "This? Well, I guess so," I can barely answer, I'm burning with desire for her and I can't help myself anymore.
I slide an arm to the back of her head, stoking her hair and bringing my lips to hers again for that sweet, irresistible taste.
