what happens in college

Brea: "Yup. We'll just go home."

Adam: "Um, okay."

Brea: "What?"

Adam: "Lets' go home?"

Brea: "Well you said it like you didn't want to, but never mind." I was getting a little sick of trying to read Adam.

Adam: "Alright," I said. "Sorry. I'm not good at this."

(*smacks Adam*)

Brea: I shrugged. "I'm not either."

(xD lol)

Adam: "It's okay. We're trying...."

Brea: I laughed slightly. "And failing."

Adam: "It could be worse."

Brea: "Maybe."

Adam: I sighed. "I don't get it."

Brea: "Don't get what?"

Adam: "Why I'm so attracted to you but I don't know how to treat you right, I guess..."

Brea: "You're really not doing that bad, Adam, I'm just hard on you." I bit my lip. It was hard to transition from being the waitress to talking to him outside of work.

Adam: I laughed. "Good. I don't want you going easy on me. Easy girls aren't fun."

Brea: I rolled my eyes. "How come they're the ones that always get asked out, then?"

Adam: "Because they're easy, duh. Guys don't like putting effort into anything."

Brea: "You don't seem to mind."

Adam: "Easy girls? Are you saying I still look at other girls even though we're together?"

Brea: I shook my head quickly. "I meant, you don't mind putting effort into things...because I don't think I'm easy."

Adam: "You're not easy." I shrugged. "That's why I like being around you."

Brea: "Thanks...I think...."

Adam: I laughed. "Then you're welcome, I guess."

Brea: I laughed slightly, too. Things were turning up, though now we were set on going to our separate homes...blah.
