Animi Institute

Animi Institute is an insane asylum. Your character gets sent there for whatever reason. Every character is not as they seem, they each have a dark past, special power, or aren't human. Your character has no clue where this place is, the doctors won't say and all of the patients here always come unconscious. The doctors also do experiments on the patients.


The rules are simple, if it seems like the chatplay has started then ask to join, if you aren't sure ask. My most important rule, have fun.

Let there be romance, drama, and other fun.

Bio: Her mom died when she was ten. Hates the visions she gets. Trys to commit suicide because she is pushed over the edge of depression by her ex-best friend. Her dad sends her to Animi.

White hair, big red eyes, In fact, it may just be easier if I tell you that she's albino. Combat boots...She's 5'1" in the combat boots. 4'9" otherwise...Has a leg comprised entirely of bone...and may have replaced some organs with paper replicas, or just miscellaneous things.
Personality: Erm...Bat crap insane, coincidentally.
Bio: New to here. Spawned by the internet...disliked by her parental unit, and imported from another universe. She's basically here for exactly what it says on the tin. She's CRAZY. With a capital L.

-eyes: she's blind, so they're a cloudy darkish blue
-skin tone: pale, slightly freckled across her nose
-height: ooph...I've never thought this in depth with my charries... Ima guess around 5'3''
-build: frail looking, thin and whispy, small
-others: Wears black flats with a light gray baby doll dress. Always has a notebook and pencil with her.
Personality: /very/ quiet, doesn't usually talk to people. Usually communicates with writing out her messages on an always present notebook she has. When she does talk it's soft murmurs of things. Secretive, but she likes to play 'games' with the other patients and nurses.
Bio: sort of unknown. She was found in a hotel room with two unconnected people who had been murdered, painting the walls with their blood. no papers on her, her fingerprints aren't in any computer system.
Other: She's befriended a few ghosts in her lifetime who now follow her around and help guide her since she's blind, almost making her condition unnoticeable
Her ghosties: Mr. Sam - an older gentleman, appearing in his 80s or 90s. His eyes are totally sunken in, leaving only black pits. He has a hole in his chest where his heart should be. Protective of Faylinn, kind, and quiet. Usually has a few wise things to say. Annabel - a mid 30s Victorian woman with a demon shaped shadow. Very prim and proper, but also sort of Faylinn's older sister figure. Isabella - A jet black cat with a thorned tail, like that of a rose, with bright green eyes. Cool, calm, collect, also very protective of Faylinn. She's more Fay's mother figure. She acts mid 30s or early 40s.

Ali: I opened my eyes to see someone looking at me (Riddle). I barely remembered what had happened.

Gil: I sat at the piano and let my fingers run over the old keys. I let out a sigh.

Faylinn
Sitting in a corner, hands upon my lap. Cat next to me, a Victorian woman standing beside me, an old man with no eyes sitting in a chair. All of which can only be seen and heard by me. Music is soft, calming.
Far away...in another room. From what they describe to me I'm in the corner. There's a metal fold out table on the opposite wall, which Mr. Sam is sitting at. They tell me lots of things. The nurses' gossip about what goes on around here. They don't like the patients. They hurt the patients. But Isabella won't let them touch me. Annabel will scold them even if I will be the only one to hear them. Her demon shadow will do things to their heads. Mr. Sam will scare them away.
Thy won't understand. None will understand... Only my ghosts...

Riddle:
I stared. Seriously. It was something I did frequently when I had lots of confusing things happening. That or yell. "HI!" I yelled too. Very effieient today. Staring AND yelling.

I had NO idea how I had gotten here. Just...woke up, and there were all these other sleepy people. Hmm. "WHY WERE YOU SLEEPY?" I asked. "Do you need more caffiene?" I asked.

Ali: "Hi. I'm Ali. Uh, maybe. Do you remember how you got here?" I had a vague recollection of trying to drown myself.

Gil: I left the room and headed into another one. There were whispers coming from the corner. Not all of them were human, most were ghostly. I sat down and knew there was a girl there. "Hi, I'm Gil."

Faylinn
Hm...someone talking to me... Where was my book...?
"Blind too, my dear," Mr. Sam said quietly. "It wouldn't do any good."
I purse my lips.
"Not very nice, Faylinn," Annabel scolds lightly, hands clasped at her waist. "Introduce yourself."
"Only if she wants to," Isabella says lightly, closing her green eyes with a sigh.
A pause through the room of just waiting, debating.... "Faylinn," I murmur to him.

Gil: I nodded. "So who are your unearthly friends?"

Faylinn
I stay silent. Stupid nurses. He must have heard it from them. The girl who talks to herself, draws pictures of ghosts even though she's blind.
I don't even think they suspect me being blind. I get about just fine with their help.
The one with no past and no future. The one without any papers. Who just appeared out of thin air.

Gil: I frowned. Obviously she didn't trust me. "You know, I can hear them too. I just can't see them because of my blindness. I used to be able to see them before I went blind though."

Riddle:
"Erm...I remember mayonaise...and I remember some kind of fire...and I remember how to spell my name..." I was shocked that I remembered THAT one, I never knew how to spell. I couldn't even READ. "I don't remember how I got here. I remember how to incapacitate armadillos? Does that help?" I asked hopefully.
I really had no clue. I had no idea where I was either. It was kinda...well...this always happened to me. Especially after I died. I hated that.

Ali: I crinkled my nose. "I'm not sure. I barely remember anything besides being miffed at my ex and my ex-friend. Plus attempting to drown myself."

Riddle:
"Hmm...I die alot...Maybe that's how we all got here? Maybe I died, and you died..and we all died...and this is just a really fancy morgue." I said. I had woken up in a morgue before. That was annoying. It involved a lot of being frozen. "Maybe we should yell...or stare. OR BOTH." I suggested.

Ali: I shrugged. "Could be. Maybe we're in an asylum? That's a good idea."

Riddle:

I didn't know what that word meant. Oh well. "Maybe. Do they make tacos there? I would like tacos." I asked. I wanted some tacos. Maybe this was just the taco line....for special VIP taco eaters. "I think we should yell a bit to find out. HEY SKY TACOS!? WHY AM I HERE?! I'M NOT DEAD AGAIN AM I COS THAT WOULD HAVE SCREWED UP MY DAY!! LIKE...A LOT!" I yelled at the ceiling. That would make something happen, I was sure of it.

Megan looked around the shcool were she was. She sat down on the floor by some lockers. Just great she thought. Alone again.

Ali: I smiled and bit back a laugh. "Maybe. I'm not sure though."

Riddle:

"Not sure about the tacos, or the yelling, or the VIP thingy? Which one?" I asked, quite unclear.
