Lark muttered something under his breath, "Do I have to go in that stupid room?"
"Yes." The man told him with a scowl on his face. How long did he have to stand here and argue with this kid?
"I don't really want to..."
"You don't have a choice."
"I don't?"
"No, you don't."
"Well I believe I just chose not to go in there..." The man's scowl deepened.

Kalya walked quietly into the room they pointed out to her and sat her bag on the bed. She didn't really care where she was. It didn't matter anymore. She just wanted to be left alone.

Lark leaned against the wall, outside of the room.
"Look kid," The guy said with a sigh. "I don't have all day, I want to go home."
"So do I."
"This is your home."
"I don't remember moving to a dump."
"It isn't a dump, its actually very nice."
"I don't see how living at a dump is nice."
The man's scowl came back.
"Get in or else."
"Or else what?"

Margaret heard shouting outside my office and walked out to see two girls out there. One of them seemed to be in a lot of pain. She recognized the girl as Tori. Margaret quickly went over and grabbed her from the girl and carried her to our medical room. Oh, how I hate working with these things with their powers.

Lark smirked and the guy thought for a moment, he was sure the kid wouldn't say that.
"Um, I'll tazer you..." The guy pulled out a tazer."
"Ooo, scary." Lark said and rolled his eyes.

Margaret grabbed a tranquilizing needle and walked over to Tori who was strapped onto a table to keep her from injuring her while she tried to sedate her. She stuck the needle in Tori's arm and waited for her to fall asleep. Margaret then ordered a male worker to take Tori back up to her room and lock her door.

.....the guy wasn't sure if he should tazer him or not.....
Lark smirked, "Too chicken huh?"

Tori drifted in and out of consciousness as she was being carried back upstairs to her room. She couldn't feel the pain that tortured her, which she was grateful for. Her vision was a bit blury, but she saw a guy and one of the workers who held some kind of device in his hand. Everything was too blurry for her to figure out.

The guy muttered under his breath and stuck the tazer out at Lark. Lark jumped to the side, grabbed the tazer, and smoothly turned it on the guy.
"Now, I'll go into my room." He said grabbing his two suitcases and walking in, slamming the door behind him.

Tori was conscious enough to realize she was in her bed. She looked up to see the guy worker quickly leave and lock the door behind him. She was locked in her room. At least this way I can't hurt anyone.

As soon as the guy was able to stand again he glared at Larks door and locked it before walking away.
Lark sighed as he heard the door lock, then grinned. Calling the shadows he told them to slip into the lock and undo it. They did and he walked out of his room whistling.

Lark explored the halls.

Tori felt the sedative begin to wear off and she pushed herself to sit up in bed. She did it took quickly and the room began to spin around her. Ugh, I hate these sedatives.

Lark started unlocking random doors......

Tori went over to her barred window and looked outside. She wished she was out there, where she used to be free of any worries. Everything changed because of whatever was afftecting her body. She let out a sigh.

Lark continued unlocking random doors, just walking down the hall, humming to himself. This was kinda entertaining....

Tori turned around when she heard her door open.

Lark started to sing he was in such a good mood.....

Tori leaned against the door frame, watching the guy walk down the hall singing. "That's a nice song," she said.

Lark almost jumped but turned it into a turn to face the girl. "Thanks, I think it is very appropriate right now. I mean, this is a hell hole right?"
