Rules: Once you go into a painting you cannot come out the way you came. If you are stuck in the painting by sundown, you become a part of the painting. Others may try to get out, when you are in...for you see...many have taken refuge. Another "exit" may take you to another painting, there is only one true exit. Enjoy what may be your...eternal stay.

Extra: She wants to find the answers. She thinks there's something meaningful she's supposed to do and wants to live the kind of life talked about in books. This makes her lazy and unattentive to things like school because she doesn't think she'll ever need it and hates the idea of her having to waste half her life in school, then working until she dies. A chronic smoker, hears what she wants to.

Extra: Don't let his appearence fool you. He gets away with a lot for looking like he does and fliers with everyone- and I do mean everyone. Is slow to anger but tends to cut people off when he's had enough of them. Peaceful around people but has a tendency for violence.

Appearence: Curly boy short dirt blonde hair, wears blue contacts over her brown eyes, a slightly upturned thin nose, large ears that stick out, large lips and slightly upturned eyes. Tan skin, medium height and curvy.
Extra: Can wiggle her ears. Somewhat of an eccentric, is constantly labeled as "white trash" by people at her school although she's extremely smart.

I pulled Evan along excitedly, "You're going to love it!"

"Where are you taking me?" Evan asked, trying to keep up.

"The new art museum!"

Ezra

I sighed, running my fingers along the cold marble exterior. I watched as a couple my age ran inside the building. Admission for today was free, a sign announced. I shrugged, and walked inside the building.

Giselle: "Single file line, ladies, please!" Sister Rhea tries to maintain order as we start filing into the museum. It was someone's bright idea that we come to the art museum as a school to learn about something or other, but it was probably just an excuse to get out of that damn school for awhile. But hey, I'm not complaining. As soon as I'm through the door, I'm sneaking away from the group and into the Rennaisance paintings section.

Ezra

I wandered around, walking into the Rennaisance hallway. Wow...they were amazing. Some of the paintings, I heard, were on loan from other museums.

Giselle: "You see that one painting over there?" I call to some guy. No one I know's around so I'll just tell him. "You know it's got like three artists in there, right? But they're all dressed up as like Roman philosophers, you know, like how some people dress in drag? So no one knows it's them at first unless you knew what they look like."

Ezra

"Oh...wow." I said, looking up at the painting. "That's actually pretty cool. I'm Ezra."

Giselle: "See, it's like a comparison to the amazing scientists who founded modern thinking to the rennaisance painters who founded modern perception and feeling. It's more of a fan boy piece on the part of the painter, although he's in there too. Oh shit, where are my manners, just goin' on and on like that." I take his hand and pump it up and down. "I'm Giselle, Giselle Swain."

Ezra

"I do that alot," I grinned, "do you know alot about the others?"

Evan

We stopped outside a Picasso. It was on loan from another museum. It was an amazing portrait of a girl with blond hair.

Corey: "My my, what a romantic painting," I say, squeezing in between the couple. "Just makes you want to kiss somebody, doesn't it?"

Giselle: "Well there's that Botticelli over there, "La Primavera," which means the spring. It's supposed to symbolize the harmony of inteligence, beauty, and sensuality. And then those mythical critters that are transforming? It's like man discarding his notions that myths had all the answers, which thus kept him in the dark about everything, and coming into the light of knowledge and understanding."

Ezra
"Looks like we all quite haven't done that yet," I said, looking up at the painting. "You know alot about all of these. Do you like art?"

Evan

"Yeah, it kinda does." I said, glancing at Cassie and giving her a small smile. She smiled back at me.

"I'm Cassie and that's Evan." she said, introducing us.

Giselle: "Eh, I like it just about as much as I like any other subject. I just like remembering things. That last part was something I read in a book somewhere."

Corey: "I go by many names. But for time's sake-" I kiss the girl's hand and grin innocently. "You can call me Corey."

Ezra

"Who's your favorite author? Mine's Edger Allen Poe." I asked.

Cassie

I can feel my face turning a slight shade of red. I can see Evan giving this kid a quesioning look. "That's a nice name," I said to Corey.

Giselle: "Faulkner, definately. I don't read a lot of fiction, but I can't get enough of him. But I'm more of a poetry person."

Corey: "As is your's, my dear." I look up at them. "Oh, am I interrupting something?"

Ezra

"I haven't read anything by him, I'll have to look him up. Poetry's cool but I do like fiction better."

Cassie

"No, not at all." I said, shaking my head. "We were just checking out some of the paintings."

Sorry for disappearing; I'm gonna be on and off until I get to my computer.

Giselle: I smile a bit and walk up to another painting. "But they're harder to memorize. What do you think of this one?"

Ezra

"It's interesting enough. The whole painting it's self. I'm not much of an artist." I admitted.

Giselle: I stare at it for a moment before nodding and starting down another hallway. "It's kinda eerie," I say a little puzzled. I don't think I've ever seen that painting before, and yet it seems kind of familiar... When I look up, there's a huge sign above us labeled "Pablo Picasso."

Ezra

"Yeah...I'm more familair with Picasso. I wonder if some of his stuff from his blue period is in here."

Evan

"So? Do you like Picasso?" I asked, looking down at Corey.

Giselle: "Hopefully," I join in, that wierd feeling I got quickly ebbing away. As we walk in, I notice I group of people standing by one of the paintings.

Corey: "Eh, he's ok...I guess. Wish he didn't make his people look so wierd. I mean who looks like that?" I shake my head. "He must've been smoking something."

Evan

"Not all of his work is like this. His early work and his blue period are realistic. This is cubism." I explained.

Corey: I really couldn't care less about this era or that era. Call me a uneducated, but the only art I like has buff men in tights and sexy damsels in distress. "Yea...It doesn't really seem that cube-ish to me."
