Raphel gestured to Artemis. "Follow her. Keep your distance."

James nodded. "Sir." His strong point was stealth, so that was what he'd be using. He slipped out and followed her, almost invisible as he blended into the shadows.

Damon gave her a kiss. "I'm glad."

Adarian: It felt strange, but good, having a living, breathing person with a pulse here in my arms. I usually hung around spirits, who were cold and void of true life (and, well, they werent solid. walking through them by accident was not fun....). "Its nice to be able to hang out with someone who isnt freezing cold, non corporeal, and lacking a pulse." i said, chuckling slightly.


Kendra: I blinked. "I think your girlfriend's mad at you." i said, a hint of an amused smile appearing on my face.

Artemis wandered into the forest, her form slowly stopping it;s shaking as she calmed. She collasped to the ground and stared up into the trees, trying to gather her thoughts

Raphel laughed. "She's not my girlfriend. She's the strongest female we've got."

James relaxed in a tree, his form blending in with the trees shadows. He kept an eye on her and he felt slightly bad for her. He wondered what was stressing her out so much.

Kendra: Why did i almost feel relieved when he said she wasnt his girlfriend? I shook off that uncomfortable thought. "Still. She's definately mad at you." i pointed out. "If she finds out you sent a guard after her again, she'll be even more mad."

Raphel shrugged. "I'm alpha. She's alpha female, but she can't do nothing about it. I'm stronger. She's just stronger out of the females."

Astrina blinked and looked up at him, "thanks?" She replied trying to decide if that was a good thing.

Dani kissed him back and yawnes, curling into his side.

Damon held her close and fell asleep.

Artemis buried her head in her hands, her shoulders slumping in defeat. She shouldn't have snapped like that, she should have had better control of herself. She had big shoes to fill, high expectations to meet. She could only push herself so hard. She was failing miserably, she was letting them all down. dammit, he was right- some alpha she was

James flipped out of the tree and landed a few feet from her. "Why the long face?" He sat criss crossed in front of her.

Adarian: I laughed. "That WAS a compliment." i said. "Walking through a spirit.... is like being drenched in ice water. Really not fun." i said.


Kendra: I nodded. "Sure. But i think if you two werent fighting, it would place your pack in an overall better position. Feuding will only divide your forces and weaken your overall defenses." i said thoughtfully.

*pats* sworry bells. what are you shopping for? a whole new wardrobe? this is like, the tenth time this week!

Raphel sighed. "We'll get over it. When the times comes we'll work together fine like we have in the past."

Kendra: I nodded. "Well, i trust your judgement, so im sure that will be the case." i said.

Artemis startled, shifting and swiping at the intruder with out thought, just instinct. A line of red was appearing across his cheek. She growled and tackled him, pinning him down "he set you after me again, didn't he?"

Astrina smiled happily, " Well I'm glad I better company than a ghost."

((Well, first it was antique shopping earlier in the week, then normal clothes shopping, then shopping for something to wear at my cousin's wedding this weekend. Right now shes getting her nails done. >.>))

James shrugged and freed his arms and pushed her off. "Yeah so? I was suppose to stay out of sight, but you looked sad. I would've followed you anyway." He wiped off the blood and felt the skin heal itself. "What's wrong anyway?"

Raphel smiled. "For the pack we'd do anything."

"nothing" Artemis snipped, shifting back and walking away
"you are so dead now" she told raphel

Raphel smirked. "We'll see."

James tilted his head and followed her. "It's a lovely night, don't you think?" He looked around him, as always in awe of the forest at night, the moon's silver light shining through the trees.

Artemis's growl reverberated through raphel's head before she sharply cut of the connection, pissed to say the least. How could he just blatantly undermined her like that? Where's the respect? where's the partnership.
"Don't make me shake you off my tail again" she sighed, changing her direction again

James raised an eyebrow. "And leave me out here to defend myself? I think not. I am your responsiblity, as you are mine." He felt truly alive tonight, must be the full moon.

Artemis snorted "you are beta now, you don't need me to defend you" she changed direction again

James kept following. "Still a rank below you, still your responsibility."
