Assassins of Chantrea

This is my novel, so I'm going to give you a glossary of words that I've made up and stuff like that.

Fame.It used to be a word of great distinction. It used to be a word of honor, pride, and dignity. The government of Chantrea compiled the List to award famous citizens. Now, if you happen to be on it, you will die.

Starvation.Life is exactly what it used to be before. They don’t care if you die, if you slowly waste away. It doesn’t matter -- the gnawing in your gut, the pain in your head -- is it a less risk of dying worth it?

Assassins.They’ll come for you. It doesn’t matter if you’re Adam Fire or the small child dying on the edge of the street. Of course, if they kill Adam Fire, the money they obtain will be life-changing.

Murder.It’s so common the government does nothing to stop it. The citizens can’t do anything to stop it. The only thing worth doing is helping the survivors. And since the assassin’s almost never come back for their kill, there are many survivors.

Ranks.They’re only numbers, aren’t they? Are you famous or are you nonexistent? Feeds, the vast network implanted into everyone’s mind, will save you from death – or sentence you to it.

Diorails - A secret train system underground that no one knows about. The trains are called shots.
Acid rain - Rain that dissolves anything that isn't living.
Glow-glo - A glowing orb that lights up a whole room.
Saba - Green gum that provides nutrients. Like, well, vitamins.
Foamies - sodas
Coolbox - refrigerator
Dreamblank - pill that erases memory
Survival - game for assassins

Now, to the rules. Complete sentences and correct spelling, please. I've added the diorails for some twists, and the rest is common, but... I guess that's all. Format now.

Rank: (You'll need one low rank and one high rank for each section of the city. Like, a rank 5,000 for the poor part of two and a rank 50 for the rich part of town)

This is the assassin part of the world I'm creating. I have another one made for the city of Chantrea, and one for Resurrection. If you want to check those out, just look for them.

Personality: sarcastic, defensive, strong, stubborn, tries to act cold hearted but really isn't.

Looks: Jet black hair and blue-grey eyes
Personality: aggressive

Okay, so they each have their own high-tech rooms with a screen for a wall. I'll post first to give you an idea.

Jason: I sighed and stepped up, letting the screen take a scan of my eye.
"Jason Conrad," it repeated back to me. I rolled my eyes as my next assignment appeared in front of my wall. "Couple assignment -- Soldier Payne. Target is Mr. Arthur James. You have five days."

Marcy - I groaned, a partner assignment! With Conrad! Why must life hate me.

Jason: I turned to look around, sending a glare to the girl. Partner assignments weren't my favorite -- actually, I hated them. "Better get started."

(Assassins refer to the person that gives them assignments as Prez because he is the president of Chantrea.)

Marcy - "Faster we get it done the faster I don't have to deal with you anymore," I say under my breath.

Jason: I rolled my eyes. Wasn't like I couldn't hear her. Closing my eyes, I murmured, "Arthur James." The picture popped up, alongside the rank.

Marcy - I looked at the picture. This was my job, my life, and yet still after every assignment I felt a pinch of sympathy. I sighed.

Jason: I put two fingers on the picture and expanded it, indicating to the system I wanted their personal information. "Movies. Mostly on Saturday night. Think he has a wifey?"

Marcy - I nodded, "Most likely." I felt that pang of sympathy again. What would his wife do without him.

Jason: I laughed. "Think we'll get a little bit more if we get her too?"

(Assassins get paid for their kills. And not to comment on her thoughts, but assassins are supposed to be a bit agressive and not care about their kills.)

(Alright)

Marcy - "Don't we always," I say.

Jason: I smiled. "Might as well pack a few extra." I closed the screen and whispered, "Show me Mrs. James." After a moment, I sighed. Nothing appeared. "Looks like it's not a wifey. Just a girlfriend."

Marcy - "I don't see why he'd take her to the movies every week," I say, "I say pack extra anyway, never know who we'll run into."

Jason: I rolled my eyes. "Don't want to kill any normals."

Marcy - And this is why I hate partners. "Don't want to be unprepared either."

Jason: "Okay then." I pulled up the screen. "Arthur James' girlfriend." A petite brunette popped up and one look at the rank made me whistle. "It's not romantic, that's for sure. He wouldn't dare hang around with her. You think it's because of Resurrection?"

(City people are running away to.)

Marcy - I looked at her ranking as well and then the picture. She wasn't too pretty. "I'd say so," I scoff, "There are no other reasons for him to date her."

Jason: "And that gives a perfect motivation for Chantrea to want them both dead. You wanna do the usual murder?"
