BEBINN

Long ago, the world lived in peace. It was a place of comfort, of solitude. Then one dark night, Mirgas, the king, fell. He was found murdered in his bed chambers. His wife, Hannah, fled the castle out of fear for her own life and never was heard from again, though it was said that she was with child.
Shergoth, Mirgas's brother, rose and took the throne. He shed no tears for his brother, though somehow he managed to convince the people of Bebinn that he was "truly and deeply sorrowed." Everyone else believed it...but not me. Our world of shifters has changed since Mirgas's death and the disapearance of Queen Hannah. The once green lands have turned an almost sickly yellow. Crops have failed, families go hungry. It's horrible. Terrible. I can't stand to watch it. But, I've heard rumors of those who can help us. Non-shifters from a world, outside of Bebinn. It's said that they are to come when the moons have reached their peak during the first eclipse of spring. I don't believe them...but I can't help hoping.

Rules: Basically the same as in all my other chats that I have created as of late, but there is only one that is one rule that isn't usually in there and that is that you can only have one animal to shift to. No multi-shifting.

Anything extra: Kale is....cocky..but if you ask him he says he just has a lot of confidence. He's not so much cocky in his ability, but rather in his looks. He likes to mouth off to the gaurds and such, and finds himself to be rather funny. He is a big fan of food and, if given the chance, could pack away five tripple whopper meals and still have room for desert.

"I bet we can get past them," Kale whispered with a cocky grin as he stared at the gaurds.
"You think so?" Jamison asked as he fought back a chuckle.
"Oh ya. It'll be like taking a stick from a pup." Kale gave a small nod. His comparisons were always off...but then again he had never heard of candy before. There wasn't really such a thing in Bebinn.
"Shall we?"
"After you good sir," Kale said with a small bow. Both of them were hiding around the corner in Shurgoth's dungeon. They had gotten thrown in there for refusing to go to the census counting.
Jamison strolled forward, followed by Kale, both of them whistling an old Bebinnian song. The guards turned and growled, rushing them. The boys shifted at the last moment, running through the guards legs and out the gate towards the dense forest that surrounded the castle, howling happily as they went.

Serai walked quietly. just minding her own business. She wanted to get out of Bebinn for a while, go somewhere where she could shift into a panther and just...roam. Be free. Away from all the society and chaos.
She stopped in her tracks, hearing some commotion by Shurgoth's dungeon.
The guards were scurrying around, looking confused.
"Perfect!" thought Serai.
As the guards gathered themselves together, Serai shifted quietly and clung to the darkness of the shadows, hoping to slip past them unseen.
She heard something about two guys who shifted and escaped into the forest from the guards, and mentally gave the two unknown guys a thank you.
Then she got past them, and darted off toward the forest, enjoying the thrill of the wind against her dark fur.
One of the guards only had time to point and shout, "Another one!" before Serai was in the trees, prancing excitedly.

Stark:
I wandered around the city hands on the back of my head. My sword rythmically bouncing against my waist as I walked. I yawned and walked out of the city. I dropped my sword belt to the ground and I shifted into a white tiger. I picked up my sword belt and slung it onto my back. The sword resting on my back. I started off away from the city again.

Kiyoni: I flew from the city, flying free. The sky was my domain, a place guards could not touch me, and if i flew high enough, i looked just like any other bird. I flew away and, once id safely exited Bebinn, i landed and resumed human form, wandering through the woods happily, at peace for a while.

Issac was lost. So freaking lost.
And hungry. Oh so very hungry.
All he wanted to do, was get some food, and find his way back. He had stumbled around, wanting to explore the world outside of his little town.
Unfortunately, he got chased by a few big things, and now found himself in a sort of area that looked so...dry. Most of the farms he passed looked so dead and deserted.

How did he get here? It was like something...called to him. He knew it sounded crazy, but that's what it seemed like.
He walked around, twirling his sword and whistling out of boredom.
Then after climbing a hill, he saw a small forest. Desperate for food, he started running toward it, thinking about maybe some wild rabbit, or a few vegetables.
Anything would work. "Maybe I should bring some more food next time I leave..." he muttered to himself.

Shikiro kneeled behind another bush, pushing an unruly strand of hair behind her ear as she searched for more berries. Her stomach growled and she smirked slightly at the thought if eatinf on of the many gathered in her small pouch. Each one of them a different kind of poison, as were the flowers also gathered to line the pouch. She would find something to eat when she was done
Shouts came from the direction of the castle and she tensed, one of her hands slipping back to grab the homemade bow slung over her shoulder. Trouble meant violence in her book, it was best to be prepared. Her amber eyes flashing in the light she used her free hand to close the pouch and slip it back around her neck before slinking backwards into the shadowy forest, carefully watching and waiting for whatever was coming.

Anna was out in the forest right outside of Bebinn. She knew she wasn't supposed to be there, but it called to her. She wanted to be able to be alone instead of constantly watched. Is there something wrong with wanting privacy? According to her parents there was, but Anna didn't believe much of what they said anyway. She had shifted into a lovely white wolf with vibrant blue eyes, she loved her form. She stretched out on the ground but soon hear a sound. She perked up, growling at the sound.

I dunno if you noticed this or not, but the last post in this chat was almost two months ago... This is dead.
