Re: Where have all the chats gone?
The spaceship, a squat ugly thing composed primarily of ramjets and armour, was now a twisted wreck on the grass. Gettal stepped from the smoking hull, his military-grade pressure suit creaking with the movement. Perhaps flying into a Tachyon storm had been a bad idea, but trapped between the Gunboats of the Harvest Moon Combine and the emplacements of the Coalition of Free Planets it had seemed like the safest choice.
And now here he was. His frame was roughly humanoid, although larger and bulkier, and with four legs in place of the human two. Not much of his face could be seen behind the visor.
In one heavy hand he held a pistol designed for hands with only three thick fingers and a chunky thumb. The other hand rested on the hilt of his traditional warpick.
His thoughts turned to the rest of the crew and the strange place he had crashed. This seemed to be a perfect environment for humans, a fact Diane would appreciate. A part of him hoped that the human Effector was dead, as his fondness for her did not outweigh his distrust of Effectors.
