Hello, Revolutionaries, and welcome to the Weekly Character Chat Revolution Writing Contests! (That’s a mouthful…) As the name suggests, each week we will hold a contest guided by a prompt, which will then be judged- with a rubric- by our panel of Rev Staff. These contests are optional, of course, so feel free to only participate in the ones that you are particularly interested in.

The prompts will be posted every Saturday here so keep an eye out for them- there will be quite a selection, ranging from setting ideas from poems, to character outlines based on a specific concept, to good ol’ fashioned short story ideas. PM me with your entries when you’ve written one (You’ll have until just before Thursday each week to submit it) and I’ll add it to our staff poll.
