Seriously...all it would have taken was one simple spell. "Alright then. fine." I say, my lips curling up into a thin smirk. " You won't get kindling dry enough out there, we'll have to find some in here."
Fine, let the tiny fairy do the work. Saved me the trouble.

Yay~ snow storms. My absolute favorite. This is just what I needed to brighten my day.
A small groan escaped my lips as I walked through the freezing winds. This had to be one of the worst days of the decade for me. I had lost Mika, my spell book AND I was trapped in this weather. Fantastic.
I wandered into a cave, hoping for some shelter of some sort. Only, I found myself among others who had already begun to take refuge. Great.
I stood off to the side, waiting for someone to notice me.

Why were there so many! Not at all a secure location if people kept finding me. I tighten protectively around Mo again. The first one was too young, the second however... But he waited, he didn't attack. They always attacked first. "Identify yourselves," I order, not taking a chance.

I was about to answer the annoying guy before I noticed another large person enter the room. Glancing between the new person and William I scowled even further, crossing my arms.
"Fair enough," I grumbled, aiming it towards William. "And I agree with the weird, classified girl. Who's the new guy?"
Sure she had given us a name, that didn't mean I had to use it.

Well these people noticed me pretty quickly. Kind of a nice change of pace. "my name is Drew Collins. An I'm not looking for any trouble. Just need a place to sit out the storm." i never did look for trouble it just always seemed to find me. And usually bore the name of E!Drew. Why I couldn't at least know it's real name was beyond me. I mean, he was me. Or part of me I guess.
"May I ask for quick introductions of you guys?"

I smirked a little, making sure that I stayed about eye height, well the best I could with the varying heights between the big people.
"You can ask."
That didn't mean that I would answer him, actually there was a pretty good chance that I wouldn't answer him. I had no reason to, seeing as I hadn't introduced myself at all yet. Might as well hold that out as long as I could, names could be powerful things. Told a lot about you sometimes, such as where you were born... and I personally just didn't like sharing it with everyone.
Didn't mean I didn't want their names though. Just the opposite. Best to know who you're talking to.

I stare at the one to the side. Of course he could ask. He has the capabilities to form sentences, doesn't he?
"My full title is classified, though you may call me Aya," I say again. Mo creeps out from my arms, orbs blinking at all of the intruders. "That is Mo. And again I ask if anyone has means to create heat, otherwise we'll soon succumb to hypothermia, fall unconscious, and die. The hominoid said something about combustion. There is a need for fuel, however."
Mo, meanwhile, was investigating his small flying counterpart. He gives a few notes, sends me a message. "He wishes to know what quadrant you come from," I voice for him, as I seemed to be the only one able to receive his messages.

"...Uh...I'm T.Mor..."I introduced myself again, kinda awkwardly. I was kinda concerned about whatever hypothermia was...because I didn't want to be dead...
I looked around at the new people uncertainly... but really, they were kinda...All new people, so, that didn't help much. Er.
So...how could I help light a fire then...? I didn't really have anything...flammable on me... did I? ...Waitaminute... Guns did some kind of... combusty thingy didn't they? ...So... that meant I had whatever was in there...
"...Er...I have a gun... ...if... if that would help with the whole... uhm, fire thing..?" I offered uncertainly... I didn't want to like... make anyone think I was threatening them or anything...
I noticed that the white stuff that had fallen in my hair was kinda melting and making me all wet...Which was really weird and also...really cold.

Alright, tiny creature could just not tell me here name. That was chill. But thankfully, the others actually introduced themselves. It was nice knowing not all of them were too paranoid. In all honesty, i was tired of paranoid people. Between the council and my partners, it was becoming a hassle.
"Nice to meet you guys, I guess," I offered with a small smile.

"Now that we're all nice friends," I growled, crossing my arms as I guestured at the T.Mor guy. "I agree with Aya, we need a fire. I already said I could start it with kindling, and this guy has some gun thing..."
I faintly managed to recall what that was. My mother used to keep one in her bedside table, on one of her good days she told me that it was to keep the bad guys away. Daddy simply told me she was paranoid.
"I could start some kind of fire with the powder, if someone wants to chance going out there..." I gestured towards the entrance to the cave with one hand as I spoke. "They could try finding a few pieces of wood to dry off. I could look for some small sticks or something here within the cave to keep it going while they were doing that."

"William," I say again, glancing around. Didn't know if it was nice to meet these people, I didn't know them....but it was polite so I said it anyway. "Nice to meet you."
Seriously, all it would take was a spell and kindling, and we'd have a fire but no the fairy wanted to do it the hard way. I sigh and start looking around for a few sticks inside the cave. No way I'm going back out there....

I stand sharply, Mo blinking to me at my sudden move. No one willing to sacrifice a bit of comfort for the survival of the group. This was pitiful.
I pull up the hood of my trench coat up and, with Mo navigating in the darkness, walk back to the entrance without any words. Slouching slightly to avoid the ceiling, I pause before the opening once feeling the white things sting my face. "I suppose I'll be back," I say, stepping out. Mo immediately zips away to search for the necessary kindling, trying to keep this exposure as short as possible.

I smirked watching the Aya girl go look, that was assuring at least. Not everyone here was that bad I guess. Dropping to the ground I began walking along the ground, gathering up small sticks. After a moment though I realized that they would have to be a bit bigger.
Well... that was a problem. I couldn't carry bigger.
Instead I summoned up my magic and muttered under my breath. lighting one of the sticks in my hand as a torch and fluttering up to one of the big people looking inside.
"... I can provide light for you, if you wish to go deeper looking for things."

I look up, raising an eyebrow. "I'd appreciate that, thank you." I say, sllliiiiigghhhhtttlllyy greatful.
Let's not get carried away though, I was still annoyed with her.

I thought about it for a moment before moving to perch myself on his shoulder. If he was going to be walking I didn't see the sense in my flying.
Even before I did that I spotted a few sticks, pointing them out.
"There's some, get those."

I pulled out my gun cautiously and then ended up just holding it and standing there with it, since the teeny winged person went off and did looking for sticks.
The girl with the mostly classified name went back out in the wetness for uhm...For wood, I think. To light on fire. Yeah.
So, I just awkwardly stood there holding a gun for a bit until I decided that maybe I should like... help somehow... only I didn't quite know how... Erm.

It was continuing to get worse. I was nearly blinded by the stinging whiteness, my eyes useless in the night, so I simply follow Mo's direction and what he tells me. Keeping my eyes shut, but for the few occasions that we found down wood to be able to guide my power, we traveled the mountainside until I couldn't feel my fingers anymore and I had fits of shivering. I stand with my back to the wind, keeping a grip on my power being split twenty ways.
Mo sends, a bit of a joke he learned from the guards. We make our way back to the little entrance, and once inside I pull back my hood once again. I glance back as Mo wisps by in the dimness, hold out a hand and the wood floats in, depositing itself in a pile by the group. I look to see what the group is doing.
And there's a weapon. I stiffen immediately, though a spark of memory makes me hesitate. Right...using the powder...combustion...
"I may be able to help with that," I say to the skinny man, holding out my hand for the gun cautiously. My eyes studied his poise, his expression, where the gun pointed. If there was even a hint of hostility...

Aya came back in kind all... covered in the white stuff, but her hair was mostly alright because she'd had a hood...
The wood floated in by itself and I was kind of surprised that it wasn't planks. All the wood in Auda is planks. Or plywood sheets.
She held her hand out for the gun, and I handed it over, handle towards her, so it wasn't one of those weird and awkward: pointing a gun at you kind of deals...
"...yeah... uhm... thanks... here..." I replied.

I glance at it, taking it in my hand the next moment after determining there was no threat. Browning HP single-action 9mm. Thirteen round magazine. Disconnecting the magazine, I allow the gun to stay in air between us for him to take again. It was full. I didn't know how much powder would be needed for a firestarter...
I went ahead and took six, leaving him with the greater portion of half, then let the magazine float between us as well. Dropping the six to have them levitate as well, shells separated from bullets and then deposited their powder into my hand. The twelve otherwise useless objects clinged onto the floor, and I look back up at the skinny one again... T.Mor. He asked for an appropriate name from me...

I watched her magically like... disembowel my gun... and get the fire part from it...and then... it was all floating in front of me. I kinda stared at it for a minute...not because I didn't know what to do with the gun pieces... just because... they were floating gun pieces.
I finally got my brain all back together and took the pieces, putting it back together as I put it away. "...You... that... It floated..." I commented, kind of wishing that that had come out better.

I glance around the others, seeing what kindling they've collected. "Yes," I confirm blankly, looking back at him. People have reacted negatively to my ability before, it wasn't exactly a surprise now. It wasn't the norm, apparently...

I study him questioningly. This was a relatively minor reaction towards my ability... It was...rather odd... I didn't really know how to react myself. "I've been altered to compensate for my intended purpose of creation," I say quickly.

"It's an ability, yes," I confirm, nodding.
Mo, who was now finished flitting about to check on what everyone else was doing, returned and settled on his usual spot of hanging over my shoulder, and proceeds to just 'stare' at T.Morbid. Although he has the ability to see things he's not 'facing', so I've concluded the yellow orbs are a choice of his and do not serve any real purpose in seeing...
