Re: CHARACTERCHAT. GO.

I sighed, not approving of her telling me what to do. I bent down, carefully lifting a hand to cup around her so she wouldn't fall. With the other I picked up the bundle of sticks and held her carefully until I stood back up.
"I suppose you could hang on to my hair so you won't fall, I would appreciate it though if you didn't pull."

Yeah. Right. The Annoying guy wanted me to be nice and not his hair. Excuse me if I didn't exactly care.
"Alright. You should probably head back towards the others now."
As I spoke I flew from his cupped hand up to his shoulder, grabbing whole of a handful to steady myself.

"You don't need to order me around," I grumble, huffing in annoyance.
Walking back over, I placed my pile of sticks down and began to arrange them.
Stupid annoying fairy.....

Scowling at him I tugged on his hair a little as he bent down, not yet leaving my perch. If he was going to talk like that then I could do this.
"I wasn't ordering exactly," I growled, wings fluttering to steady myself even more. "Just saying what should be done."
Glancing at the others I noted the fact that it appeared everyone was back. I then turned my eyes back towards the wood, studying it.
"Do you think that will be enough?"

I follow the little hominoid's gaze to the wood. "It will have to be rationed... We can mostly block the entrance of the cave to keep the heat produced in while adequately ventilating smoke, as well as sharing body heat, we should be alright for the night," I said. As I had already blocked the entrance when coming in with a quickly constructed white wall, without the wind blowing in it was already slightly warmer. Not much, but noticeable. I show her the gunpowder. "Ready to initiate the combustion, I suppose?" I ask her, unsure exactly how the little person would manage such a feat.

I opened my mouth, about to comment on the blocking of the cave when I stopped myself and just shook my head. I honestly shouldn't question it, I decided, it seemed like I was pretty far from what I was used to, so perhaps I should watch a little before saying how impossible things are. Besides that... the cave already seemed a bit warmer.
Instead I fluttered my wings, jumping down from Will's shoulder and flitting over to land on her hand. I then cupped my hands to scope up a bit of the gun powder and jumped off her hand as I had done when leaving Will. Hovering slightly over the wood I spread it out and muttered something under by breath as I rubbed my hands together, one small ruby spark leaping from my palms and falling below, as it fell it grew a little, catching some of the powder. Instantly it ignited and I muttered again, turning my hands palm down towards the small flame and causing it to grow.
"There."

So she had used magic. Interesting.
I lean back, resting my head on my knee and watching the fire. I keep the corner of my eye on those around me though. Never get to friendly with strangers.

I watched them do some kind of crazy magic to make fire... ...which, I didn't really understand at all. I thought you needed fire to make fire...? Or like, friction or something? Explosions?
Anyway... after a minute we had a nice fire going in the cave thing... and somehow the girl called Aya had made a way to keep the hot air from getting out of the place. It was really weird being what seemed like the only person here who couldn't do weird magical things...
"So... we...we have heat..." I said to the room. I wondered how we'd be getting other important stuff... ...like food. Food... Food was hard to sort out even if you weren't in a cave somewhere. "...Uhm... ...do...do we need... food... and stuff...?" Of course it was entirely possible that I was the only one who needed to eat since they were all apparently magical... which would be a really awkward situation...

"Food is not critical at the moment," I state, sitting onto the rock floor. Water on the other hand, was required. Three days without water would lead to death by dehydration. Mo let out a low whistle of sorts, moving to settle into my lap.

...Food wasn't critical. ...Ok then. Well. I felt my eyebrows go down into a thinking face for a moment at that. "Then... then what is critical? What do we need then...?" I asked.
I thought about it. What were we always after at home? ...Food... and Water. Ah. Water... that must be the problem. "...Oh. ...Oh... I see..." I sorta answered my own question as soon as I realised the answer.
But... how would we get water...? I didn't know where the river was from here... and there didn't seem to be one here in this place... so... "Then where do we find it...?" I asked. That was probably a better question. I think. Hopefully.

I jumped into the air the moment I was sure the fire was going well, glancing at the others before flitting down and landing on the cave floor. Getting closer I made sure that I was close enough to dry out my wings the rest of the way. After all, they were dry enough to fly alright but not the best, and who knows what I'd be needing to do when stuck with a cave full of strangers.
"Well, wouldn't it be easy enough to collect snow?" I questioned, glancing between the all of them. "We don't have anything to put it in, but perhaps someone has a clean cloth? It can always be soaked and used to hold the snow..."
I may have not had to deal with it since I'd died, but I did know my way around a snow storm at some point in my life. It seemed I hadn't forgotten just yet.
