As I drew closer, I recognized the voices that carried from the shoreline. I relax and come out from the forest, toes warming as they touched the sand. I easily caught up to my friends, falling in stride with the line.
I don't say anything as a greeting, they know I'm here. Instead, I stretch my lips into a fraction of a smile, inhaling the scent of the sea and trying to drown out that eternal cry.

I give a smile back to Conch, bumping into her slightly. "And here's Miss Fox, always slinking around like the ground's gonna explode..." I tease. "Can't once ever approach clearly and not from behind?"

Ginna rolled her eyes. "I dunno. but I just dont want to get in trouble." Well, that was a lie. She got in trouble everyday. maybe it was more the face that this felt like something they really werent supposed to be doing.
She smiled over to Conch as she appeared. "nice to see you for once, conch." She teased slightly.
