Once Upon A Nightmare

Ambrosia - I shivered at the looks they were giving me.

Zane: The leader got angry since he showed a sign of weakness. "Alex won't come out off his royal throne to come after me. He might send his hench men, but we all know that Alex is a coward when it comes to face to face combat." The pack now started to circle us. "We just want the girl if you give her to us we will let you live." I couldn't help it, I glanced back at Ambrosia. No I wasn't going to give her up. I gave the leader a scowel. "I will die first."

Ambrosia - I groaned, "That's stupid, don't die for me, you barely know me!" I yell at him.

Zane: I smirk at her,"That may be true, but would you rather go with these saveges."

Ambrosia - "Well no, but I don't want you to get yourself killed," I snap.

Zane: "Yeah well I don't either, but I can't sit back and watch. Its not in my nature." I looked to that they were still circling us. The leader stops and says "I grow tired of this." I get ready for the fight. I pull all my power towards me feeling it swell. "Attack" was all he said for the pack to come at me. I kept the girl behind me then faced the first guy. I made a fire sword appear in my hands then took off his head.

Ambrosia - "Shit," I said loudly as I watched him take off a guy's head. "Should I get help or something?" I ask.

Zane: "No if you run, then they chase after and trust me they are way faster than you. The chances of you actually getting help is very slim. Now if you had powers than you could help but since your human just stay behind me and if you see someone come at us from behind hit me." I looked back to the two guys coming at me at once. A wicked smile was on their faces. They lunged at me at the same time. Thank god I got the stupid ones. I side stepped then brought my blade through one of their hearts. The other moved away before I could get to him. We went around each other looking for an opening to kill the other. I looked quickly to see the leader he seemed entertained by this. He was holding the rest of his pack back just to see if I could survive.

Ambrosia - I saw the entertainment in the leader's eyes and frowned, "You are a sick person." I growl at him.

Zane: The leader smiled cruelly at Ambrosia. "You have such spirit. I can't wait to brake that and make you beg for your life." I was still fighting the other guy so I couldn't say anything back to the leader. I finally found an opening he was going to jump at the girl. I took my chance and while he was in mid air I slashed at his chest. He hit the ground and I stuck my blade into his stomach. I saw the life drain out of him. I felt some pity towards them. They were outcasts sent to die or become ruthless killers.

Ambrosia - "I'd like to see you try to break me, I'm pretty damn strong," I smirk.

Zane: "Yes that may be true but even the strongest will eventually yield." The leader finally let the rest of his pack come after. There were five at least. I didn't know if there were any behind me. They were coming closer to Ambrosia. I had to work fast. I cut down another guy but still they came. I grew angry at how helpless this was getting. Then the ground started to shake.

Ambrosia - "What's happening?" I asked as the ground shook underneath me.

Zane: "I don't know," I yelled back. Somehow though I had a feeling this was all my doing. The pack grew scared by the ground movement and backed up. The leader eyes widened in fear. I smiled well maybe we have luck. Still I couldn't shack that this was me doing it so I imagined the ground lifting under the leader and throwing him across the street. To my surprise that is exactly what happened.

Ambrosia - "Oh my god! Is that you?" I ask.

Zane: I stare in shock. All I can do is nod. The pack glances at me nervously. They see that their leader is down so they flee back into the wild. The leader slowly gets back up. You can tell that the hit took a hard blow to him. His eyes were widened from shock. He looked at me, "You shouldn't have that kind of power." Then he to took off into the woods.

Ambrosia - Not thinking I hug him tightly, "You are amazing!" I tell him.

Zane: I hugged her back. For some reason her hug made my heart beat rapidly. I hoped she didn't feel it. I flushed in embarrassment at how I was acting. I was really getting weak over this girl. I smiled "Well I couldn't let them take you."

Ambrosia - "That's why you're amazing," I say, "most people don't care about other people."

Zane: "Around here it is hard to care. Not when the people you care about might die." I felt a little sad remembering how they took my poor little sister's life. I shook my head. "Do you still want to go to my favorite place or should we head back?"

Ambrosia - I shrug, "Whatever you think is best, I trust you," I say.

Zane: I smile,"Onward we go." I need to relax after the days events and that place was the only one that could get me relaxed.

Ambrosia - "Yay!" I smile and clap my hands excited.

Jamila: I glare at him. "You know your human's gone, right?" I say. "I know I'm irresistable and all, but, she got away." I give him a quick peck on the lips. "Now, are you gonna get her?"

Ambrosia - I walk back with Zane after going to his favorite spot and walk back upstairs slightly reluctant and walk into the room where Jamila and Alex are, "Did I interrupt something?"
