The Mystics

Ambrosia - I frown, "I can't just not try, It isn't in my nature."

Wisty: I sigh. I doubt I'll convince them to not help me.

Luke: "You're right," I told her. "You can't convince us. We will help you."

Wisty: "Why?" I ask. "I'm just a--" I pause, biting my tongue from saying slave. "fourth in command person." I'm not used to saying that. I've only been fourth-command for a couple weeks.

Luke: "I know what you used to be. But that's all over now. Nothing to worry about..."

Wisty: I rub my elbow, a long forgotten scar. "Why are you helping me?" I ask suspiciously.

Luke: I grin, even though she cant see it. "Because we're on the same side now."

Rose: I glanced over my old slave, but didn't say a word. She probably hated me, despite the fact I let her go. And let her be fourth in command. At least she looked presentable. "Well then, I"ll... go wait outside." I said, avoiding the awkward tension that was beginning to form.

Wisty: I stay silent. Of course, I didn't see her. I wonder if she knows how traumatizing it is...

Luke: I read Rose's thought and bit the inside of my cheek when I heard Wisty's. "Of course she doesn't," I told her once Rose was gone. "She was never in your position."

Rose: I didn't even stay in front to wait for the dignitary. I walked toward my rose garden, which I had the landscapers put in after I came into Head of Council. I sat on a stone bench beneath a cherry tree, and just wondered what exactly Wisty thought of me.

Wisty: "I know," I murmur. I look in the direction the light came from, where she left. "Do you have any idea when they're coming? Dignitry (sp?), I mean."

-.- sorry if I'm a bit slow I have to prepare a stupid case...

Luke: I shook my head. "Nah. No one does... But they're late, which is odd. WIsty?" I asked, getting the answer for Rose.

Ambrosia - "They should be here by now, this is making me nervous," I growl

Rose: I glance at my watch. They were half an hour late. Fine then. If they're not going to show their ass up for a fucking state dinner, where we were supposed to negotiate trade so they can get food from us cuz of that drought, they can starve for all I care. I stood up from my bench and walked back inside. "Dinner will be served in five minutes, whether the dignitary is here or not." I said, my expression annoyed, yet it portrayed little emotion.

Ambrosia - "Good choice, I hate people who don't show up on time!" I snap.

Rose: "I'll go tell the cook." I said, and walked to the kitchen, where the chef was simmering some pasta carbonara. I informed her of the time change, and she nodded. I walked back to the foyer. "Do what you want until dinner. Council dismissed." I said, and walked to my room.

Ambrosia - I walked up to Rose, "Rose, is something wrong?" I ask her.

Rose: "Nah. Everything's fine. Just irritated about the dignitary. He should have at least sent word of his late arrival. But, whatever. Like it or not, I'm starving, he's late, we're eating."

Ambrosia - "I wonder what is keeping him," I frown.

Rose: "Honestly, I don't know. But I will yell at him for being late, when he finally shows up."

(are you going to be the dignitary?)

Ambrosia - I smile at her, "Of course you will Rose!"

(i guess I could be. Sure, why not? I think I also might make another charrie)

Rose: I laugh. "Yep, cuz being late is considered rather rude. Especially something that's supposed to be important to them. But, I suppose they could deal without food. But they won't blame it on us, they'll blame it on the dignitary."

Ambrosia - I bite my lip a little, "I don't want them to starve Rose."

Rose: "I don't either, but its not my fault if they do."
