Ambrosia - I bite my lip and try to remember, "No, not really, guys?" I look at them.

Tara: At least I had gotten a simple chore today: washing windows. Spray and wipe. Th catch? I had to clean every single window in the entire orphanage! Better get to work, I thought as I dragged my feet upstairs to clean the windows in the library.

Helios looks at Khonsu and they both nod. "We left for a year after you left. When you came back, he was just...gone. No one could see us other than Ambrosia, so we couldn't ask." I nod when I hear the door open. My eyes widen and I turn around to see a little girl staring at Helios and Khonsu.

Oh, sorry! I thought you were gonna post for them first.
Carter: "Clean the windows..." I drawl as I look at the piece of paper. I really want to know what's up with that lady from earlier, but I don't even know where she went. I whistle and look down the hallway before kicking open the library doors.

I did post for them first! Look at the post before Andrea's entrance.
Tara: "I'm sorry, ma'm, I'm working as fast as I ca-" I turned, to see that Indian kid, who was definetly not the head of the orphanage. Not the lady who would punish me. "Oh, it's just you."

Ack, sorry. I'm kinda out of it...@.@
Carter: I raise an eyebrow. "Just me?! My good lady, as you clearly mustn't know who I am, please allow me to educate you." I put down my cleaning bucket and clear my voice. "I am Sir Newland Oaks, protecter of the land of Claudieks, all the way from the Valley of hell to the Garden of Plias. Now, good maiden, who pray tell are you?"

Tara:"Oh really?" I said dryly, placing a hand on my hip. Boys were so immature. "I'm Tara? No fancy title here."

Carter: "It was bestowed upon me by the fair queen herself," I say with a bow. "But it seems as though I've been forced into concentration by the evil dragon which rules this land, away from my men and my stead. But I see you are a fellow prisoner. Join forces with me, and I will promise you a safe return to your native land!"

Re: T h e • O u t s i d e
Tara:"Um, okay...have fun with that," I raised my eyebrows and turned back to the window. That kid was crazy, did he rally believe in all that medieval stuff? Secretly, I did, too. But I would never tell, because I didn't want to be labeled a loser.

Carter: "Then it is settled!" I say. I take the foamy spray and go to each window, writing various letters until I came to the window the girl is working on. I look back at my handiwork and smile. "HELP" it read. I turn and look up at her. "Would an exclimation be over exaggerating? Or would it work here? Because right now, it says 'Help, I'm in need of assistance.' Whereas the exclaimation point adds 'And I may possibly die.' but is it too dramatic?"

Re: T h e • O u t s i d e
Tara:"Actually, right now it says 'pleh' to anyone that could help us," I pointed to the streets, filled with people. To the people below, the letters would be backwards. "So adding an exclamation point won't do much."

Carter: I stop and frown, turning back and looking at the letters. "Well, you see," I start off, and then grin. "It's all part of my master plan! My men are skilled in the ways of different codes, this being one of them. It'll only help ensure that others don't read the message and catch on, like the vector that's been seen wondering these hallways. It was apparently a princess who had her souls devoured by the dragon and is now forced to be her slave. Hence extra precarions had to be taken to ensure our safety."

Re: T h e • O u t s i d e
Tara:"I see..." I looked at him skeptically, still questioning his sanity, then took the spray bottle and washed the window I'd been standing at for at least ten minutes now. I sighed and moved on to the next one, the 'p' in 'help'. "I'm never going to get this done. She's going to whip me…" Just like my father had - what a scary thought.

Re: T h e • O u t s i d e
Carter: "Nonsense, do you think me a fool? The message is one that can only be seen with a certain type of light. To hide the evidence, we must slimply work together using this!" I hold up an old rag to the light, pretending that angels were singing and that the thing were glowing. "The cloth of Selitir, the great wizard of long ago. Using this, the message will become legible only with the light of certain magical objects that my men happen to posses." I start cleaning the "P," it being a little easier for me because of my height. "Hizzah!" I yell when it's done.

Re: T h e • O u t s i d e
Tara:"Thank you wizard Selitir," I mumbled and started on another window. At least he was cleaning, even if he had to act deranged to do so.

Carter: I grin. "What, no hizzah back? I swear, girls are so boring sometimes," I say as I move on to the next letter.

Re: T h e • O u t s i d e
Tara:"There's a fine line between boring and mature. But why not? Hizzah!" I laughed as I wiped down the window.

Carter: I smile and move on to the unsprayed windows. "See, I knew you had some knight in you! If we make it out if this alive, I may even ask the queen if she can knight you. But like I said, that's if. I already know I'm schedualed for some one on one time with the dragon."

Re: T h e • O u t s i d e
Tara:"Oh no, not the dragon!" I said sarcastically, then rolled my eyes and continued with the windows. How did windows get so dirty, anyway? It wasn't like people spent all day pawing them with muddy fingers. I wouldn't be surprised if the head lady (what's her name?) personally dirtied them herself, just to watch us suffer.
