Ambrosia - I looked at her sleeping. She looked peaceful. I wondered if I looked like that when I was asleep.

Abel's Diary

When we turned 17 I was sent to Denmark to steal a valuable artifact for the master, Luca didn't come with because he did not learn Danish. I was fluent in Danish. Everything was going well until I missed a jump and fell and twisted my ankle. The guards of the palace found me and utterly beat me within inches of death. They locked me in a dank, moldy cell chained to the wall with cold, heavy chains. I would remain in the cell eating food you wouldnt feed to a rat for 6 months,

Himali: "That's worse than the living conditions in India."

Abel: I could tell Ambrosia was thinking about something. I just stood and looked at her thinking. I didn't wish to bother her.

Ambrosia - I leaned against the wall. I was a killer. It was what I was good at. I was a bloodthirsty girl with a flair for the outrageous. I was intimidating. I was flirtatious. I was manipulative. I knew all of this. Still, I wanted to look peaceful. I wanted, at least when I was sleeping, to look as if I was innocent. As if I didn't have the weight of the world on my shoulders. I wanted to be vulnerable. Why? I didn't know.

Elana
I turned over with a mumble "No..." I muttered to no one, sleep still wrapping me like a thick blanket. My face stayed smooth and expressionless, but my dreams had taken a darker turn

Abel's Diary

When I was released from Denmark, I returned to the master in a sorry state. My clothing hung off me in shambles, I was dirty too, my hair knoted terribly. Instead of helping me, my master beat me for failing. Luckly, not as bad as the Danish guards did. In the moment of my beating, I remembered how beautiful Denmark was, oddly. Even though I got the worst betting of my life there, I was happy. When master finished, I picked myself up, Luca had this concerned expression on his face, I ignored him and rested in my room for the next month or so

Abel: I looked to Ambrosia who had recently started to lean against the wall. I half tottered with the idea of joining her until the rebel groaned. "I think she is thinking about awaking."

Himali: "That's enough." I concluded as I shut the book. I decided to put it back, so I wouldn't get in trouble.

Ambrosia - "Seems that she is," I say breaking my deep thoughts.

Elana
One eye opens, and I moan, still exhausted "How long have you creepers been watching me sleep, exactly?"

Ambrosia - "Only a couple minutes," I tell her.

Elana
"Either kill me or let me go back to sleep please"

Abel: "Not long really, you rebel. We are just discussing what to do with you. You do know who I am right? So you know the delima you are in with me being here." I tried to sound gruff and intemidating, I'm pretty sure i pulled it off.

Ambrosia - "La pazienza è una virtù," I say pushing myself off the wall.

La pazienza è una virtù = patience is a virtue.

Luca: "Go back to sleep, Elana. We haven't decided your punishment yet. . .but Abel's just being an ass."

Abel: I am impressed with Ambrosia's Italian. It followed smoothly like the language should. "You are absolutely correct."

Ambrosia - I look at Abel, "You sound surprised, did you think I knew nothing of virtues?" I tease.

Elana
Fear swirled inside of me, who was that Abel guy, and what did his presence mean? Alright, they would make me wait for my fate; I was too tired to care. Closing my eyes, I forced sleep this time, still terrified, but not showing it
