"Ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on, brah, la la how the life goes on" I sung quietly, making my way down the brick alleyways. Then I heard a quiet groan, like someone just starting from a long nap. Looking down, a girl about my age lay there, blood trickling from her head. Knealing down I shake her by the shoulders, then give up. My eyes flash purple, and I quickly enter her mind, jolting her awake

"AH!" I scream and look up to see this girl infront of me. "wh-who are you?"

I take a bow, a small grin forming on the edges of my mouth "Marley, master thief, known in some circles as Sandwich Girl" Not many people believed me anyway, so hey, why not? "How may I be of assistance?"

Faye
"Sandwich Girl? What do you, like, steal the lunches of school children?" I ask and put out my hand for her to help me up.

Marley
I laugh and help her up "No, I just kinda have a thing for sandwiches. Why do you ask?"

Faye
"Mmrph I just thought it was weird," I say while holding my head. "I'm Faye."

Marley
"Faye, that's a cool name" I nod "So, Faye of the Alley, what brings you here?" Why was I so hyper? Oh right...the three glasses of mostly sugar lemon-aid was a bad idea...

Faye
"I..um..I don't really know...What about you? Why are you wandering around a dark alley?"

Marley
I sigh, glancing around "Don't really have anything else to do... but you don't remember? Are you sure?"

Faye
"I,uh, there was this guy with, like, uh, silver eyes? And he...um...I don't know."

Faye
"Um, yeah, I think so, maybe? It's kinda fuzzy..."

Faye
"He just seemed really mad about something, I don't really know what it has to do with me, though."

Faye
"Well, I saw him and he was just staring at me so I went over to him to see if he needed help, but before I could even say anything he just attacked me! It was crazy!"

Marley
Ok, that wasnot Dorian's MO. "Er...are you sure he had silver eyes and black hair?"

"Yeah, I think so, why?"

"Doesn't sounds like him" I mutter, so quietly I wasn't sure the girl could hear me. Alright, I was going to have to make sure... closing my eyes, they turned purple behind the lids and I scanned her mind for memories. She had seen Dorian...but flashes of pain, and shots of his face were all I could find. As if maybe he removed something...my eyes turned to normal as I opened them, studying the girl. If Dorian didn't want her dead, then what?

"Are you ok? You look kinda funny."

"Oi! I could find that offensive, you know" Now I should probably be going...but if this girl was in danger from my brother..."Hey, where do you live?"

Faye
"Here."

Marley
"Oh...alright..." I could bring her back to Jason and Tiffy's house...but that would just draw attention to them again. "Follow me"

Faye
"Where? Is it far? Cause I really don't feel that up to a hike." I said, not knowing why I'm even trusting this girl.

Marley
"Er...not sure, but we have to get away from here, alright?" I began to walk out onto the street, looking around for somewhere...anywhere, really
