Jake- I know. And yeah she goes here. She's the one Dakota's replacing in the play. She quit because she doesn't want to be around me since I broke up with her.

(I like how this storyline works so well!)

Fiona: Oh. Don't worry, Koty won't try and date you. There won't be any drama from her. She can behave when she needs to. But I'm sorry about that. That sucks.

Jake- It's cool. She's just trying to talk to me through my sister now. Telling Claire to tell me to text her. Dani was always way too complicated for my tastes. You know, Dakota looks annoyed that she can't hear our conversation right now.

Dakota: I scowled, wondering if something was going on between Jake and Fiona. Nah. She was too smart for that.

Fiona: Oh. Well, just ignore her. Girls usually quit being annoying if you ignore them. Well, young girls can be complicated, you know. And don't worry about Koty. I'll handle her.

Sorry I was having internet problems but it's fixed now.

Jake- I'm not worried about Koty. I'm worried about what Dani and Claire have planned. They always plot against people- usually someone who upset them or pissed them off- when they're alone together. They're both mad at the two of you for taking their parts and Dani's mad at me 'cause I broke up with her.

Fiona: Never call her Koty in real life. Just saying. She'll punch you. Oh. Are they good friends or something? Hm. And don't worry, Koty and I can help you.

Jake- They are very close friends. That's how I met Dani, she came with my sister to a rehersal one time and we started hanging out. I didn't find out she was a freshman until today though. Dakota still had that aggitated look on her face.

Dakota: I kept texting Adam.

Fiona: Oh. She must be a pretty young freshman, though. They won't get in the way of rehearsal, right?

Jake- Well Claire's gonna come because she became assistant stage manager when she broke her leg so Dani will probably tag along. We made her assistant so she can't ruin the play.

Fiona: I groaned. She can still ruin the play as an assistant! You know that, right?

Jake- True. We need to change her to something else. Maybe... person who brings the cast members water?

Fiona: I nodded. Sounds like a good idea.

Dakota: I was annoyed now. "Can you guys just talk out loud? This is really dumb."

Jake- "I don't know what you're talking about," I say with fake innocence.

Fiona: "Don't worry about it, Koty. We're talking to you now."

Dakota: Annoyed, I just kept texting.

Jake- I just shrug. My phone goes off again. It's Claire. Have you talked to Dani yet? I hit reply this time. No and I'm not going to either.

Fiona: "Are you guys done yet?"

Jake- "I'm done."

Dakota: I nodded. "I'm done. Now what?"

Jake- "I don't know."

Fiona: "Let's ditch again."

Jake- "Do you just want to ditch class all day?"

Dakota: I shrugged. "Sounds good."

Jake- "Okay. Now all we gotta do is figure out what we're going to do all day."

Fiona: I shrugged. "I just don't want to go to school."

Jake- "Well that's a given."
