Aiden: I laughed. "What's up with the Q and A session here?"

Tara: I shrugged. "I can be quiet instead if you want..."

Aiden: "nah. What did you do yesterday?"

Tara: "Worked," I answered dryly.

Aiden: "I was off. I went to the skate park." I lied.

Tara: "Lucky you, this is my only day off in a month," I sighed.

Aiden: "jeez, talk about slave labor."

Tara: I frowned. "I kinda need the money..." To pay all our bills, the ones my dad refused to.

Aiden: "and what might you be saving up for? College?"

Tara: "Yeah...college," I took the excuse. I probably wouldn't be able to afford college. Unless I maybe got a scholarship.

Aiden: I raised an eyebrow at the slight hesitation, but shook it off. "Which college do you want to go to?"

Tara: "Uh..." Because the prospects were so dim I had never really thought about it, so I said the first thing that came to mind: "Harvard...?"

Aiden: "ivy league? You aim high."

Tara: "Hm yeah," I said, not paying attention. I had begun to make a card house out of sugar packets, so really a packet house. Like I made when I was little.

Aiden: "you can play paper football with those things." I said.

Tara: "I hate football," I said distractedly as I tried to precisely stack one packet ontop of another.

Aiden: "paper football is different though."

Tara: "How?"

Aiden: "well, there's no sweaty men tackling each other. And no jockstraps." I smirked.

Tara: "TMI," I grimaced, and put the packets back in their little container.

Aiden: "and its a lot faster than regular football."

Tara: "Hmm, that's interesting," I said boredly.

Aiden: I sighed as they brought out the pancakes. Delicious.

Tara: "Mmm," I said after taking a bite.

Aiden: "told you it was chocolatey heaven on a fork." I said smiling
