Emerson: I sigh, waiting for my cookies. I heard Kimbol and my head perked up. I walked up the isle to the two girls and adressed the younger one. "Sorry if I misheard, but did you say Kimbol?" I asked.

Belle nodded, looking at him expectantly.

Emerson is a guy, Jacky.

Emerson: "I'm sorry," I said, "I just lived there as a child." I smiled a little, my mind drifting back.

Belle smiled. "Really? What's it like?"

Annika listened in, though she pretended to read the letter on her lap. She was always looking out for intel, and it looked like this boy might offer up some.

Dangit she's gone again.

Emerson: "Small. But it's very scenic and there is a nice market place, sort of like a community store," I said. "Just stay away from the bird lady. I fear she's a bit insane," I smirked.

Belle pictured it all in her head. "It sounds cute," she said, smiling a little.

Emerson: I nodded. "It's a good change of pace from the large villages around it. Those are the places if you're going to shop," I advised. "And in the north, are the prestigious families." I failed to metion that that was where I grew up.

Belle nodded. "Hmm. I like it. Small, but it has character."

Annika froze. 'Small, but it has character.' Was exactly how her grandmother described the village. The village Annika knew they'd all be stranded in, it was the 11th of June, afterall.

Emerson: I nodded. "A lot of character," I said, my smiled widening.

Belle's eyes flitted back to Annika. "Have you ever been there?"

Annika shook her head, she had never been outside of the small village she had taken this train from. She looked up, locking eyes with the boy but then quickly looking away. She wasn't supposed to give anyone a good look at her - darnit. "I've never been outside of my village," She muttered.
