Matteo: My smirk only grows as I lean down and whisper to the wench,"That's quite a lovely necklace you have on. St. Jane's if I'm correct?"

Rose: i nearly did a spit take as i looked over at him. I coughed to get thee hot coffee out of my throat. Coffee was dripping down the screen.. "shit!" I hissed as I grabbed a naapkin and wiped it up.

Armand: I scoot down a bit more in my seat and offer the waitress a sheepish smile. "Um, yea," I say softly. "Just thought I'd get some coffee, y'know?" Someone that sounded strange, even to me. Especially since I haven't been out in public since March. "Do you need help with that?"

Armand: Halfway through cleaning up the coffee, I hear him. "Hey, St. Jane! Is it true what they're saying about your family? That they're looking for some myth?" My teeth clench for a minute, but I grin at the man as I stand up. "What myth?"

Rose: I nonchalantly sipped my coffee as I said to the screen, loud enough for him to hear. "I know a place where you can be virtually unnoticed."

Avril: "Why yes, yes it is," I replied haughtily, not turning to look back at the distasteful boy. Why should he know my taste in jewelry?

Matteo: "Yes, I remember that piece exactly. My father made it for this season's spring collection. It is quite a beautiful piece when worn right. But in a place of intellectual beauty such as this and when paired with such a haughty attitude, the beauty is lessened."

Armand: "Hm? I'm not sure I get what you're saying," I say with my usual grin. "I just wanted a cup of coffee."

Marlo: I snap my phone shut and continue to look outside. It truly is such a drab day. I'd traded the man several pounds if diamonds, and in return I get a riddle.

Avril: "Well, I'm sorry that your father's jewelry can't compete with my attitude," I tried to twist his words around. I doubted his father was really Mr. St. Jane.

Clara: My eyes widened slightly, he was a St. Jane?

(Hm...maybe he saw the deal go down?)

Matteo: "I don't believe that is the issue exactly. You see, it's like having a horridly mangled and oversized foot being stuffed into a shoe. How can anyone appreciate the shoe when the foot is so disgusting? Much like your own feet, really. I don't suggest you wear sandals again."

Avril: "I'm sure you're father loves that you're smattering your family's name by insulting another well known family," Avril sniffed as they came to the front of the line.

Clara: I heaved our books up onto the counter, Marcus not even offering to help, and of course a few off them just had to slide off onto the ground. I sighed and knelt to pick them up.

Matteo: "My father and I don't talk much," I say easily. How can I when he cares mire about his whores than his sons? "If I happen to lose him a client or two, it's like the cherry on top of my wonderful day. Now if you'll excuse me." I put my books on the counter next to theirs and toss their books over my shoulder. "You were behind me."

Clara: My shoulders sagged. What did I ever do to deserve this? Now I had to pick up all the books. I crawled around him, already on my knees, to get the books. How degrading...

Avril: I shoved one of his books off the counter, and it landed open. I brought my stiletto heel down on it, tearing the page. A look of mock surprise crossed my face. "You'd really better be careful, going around damaging library property with your shoes, sir."

"Oh, can it," Quinn said, rolling her eyes. She walked up to the two and helped the girl pick the books up. "You people fight like an old married couple. Get over yourselves."

Matteo: I wink. "Guess that's why I didn't check it out yet." When I notice they aren't even looking at... whoever that is picking up their books, I frown a bit. But hey, it's none of my problems. Just another stressed out personal assistant. That's when in of their books catches my eye. My smile bitterly and turn back to my own, laughing a bit.

"There." Quinn placed the last book on the counter, and cocked her head when the one guy chuckled. "...what?"
