The Fountain

Clara: I gathered the remainder of the books and pleaded with my eyes at Avril and Marcus to go to the back of the line.

Avril: I grabbed the little self-check out scanner before the bastard St. Jane could stop me, and scanned our books. There. I pressed the check out button and scanned the card. HA.

Clara: I grabbed the books again, the weight of them nearly tipping me over. I stumbled to the door, swaying.

Sorry Jacky, I haven't been seeing your posts... :/

Armand: I just needed to wait for the rain to let up. Then I'd be golden. "Nah, I'm good," I say. "I'm just waiting for the rain to stop, really. People will be people, y'know?"

Matteo: I smirk abd turn to the girl (Quin). "Sorry, I just didn't think she'd have the brain power to even know what a myth is."

Avril: I stiffened and turned back around, hands on my hips. "I'll have you know our family is very, very intelligent. We are business people, after all."

Clara: My knees were starting to give under the books, and I also wanted to scream that I was the one actually doing the thinking here!

Quinn chuckled. "Right. Fountain of Youth, huh?"

Matteo: "So? That doesn't mean you're smart," I say. "I mean Fountain of youth?" I smirk at the girl. "You'd be better thinking about te fountain of inteligence."

Quinn laughed. "Nice. You're not half bad," she said. She liked people with a sense of humor. Serious people bored her.

Matteo: "Only forty nine point nine percent bad. But I blame my dad's genes for that." I stick out my hand. "Matteo St. Jane."

Quinn shook his hand firmly. "Quinn Pershing."

Avril: I turned away and stalked out the door, Marcus and Clara following.

Clara: I glanced at the boy, who had just introduced to himself to the girl, as I trailed behind. Lucky them, actually having friends. Avril and Marcus wouldn't let me have a moment to myself, never a moment to talk to people. What I wouldn't give to be in that girls' shoes right now, making a new friend...

(Hey Jack, did you see what I asked about your charrie seeing Marlo trading diamonds with some guy for information?)

Hmm...just a sec...

Matteo: When I see their personal assistant looking back, I grin. "Tell your boss to be careful. I think witches melt in the rain, right?" Sucks to be her. But hey, at least she's getting paid.

Pavo?

Where are they in the country club? Trying to figure out what Nathaniel would be doing in the first place...

Quinn smirked. Alright, it was horrible to laugh at that one, but it was like watching Family Guy. It's hard not to.

Clara: "My...boss?" I said in confusion. "That's my sister."

Quinn: Awkward. She flashed Matteo a look.

And she had asked for a table away from everyone else. I guess she'd have been eating with the guy when the deal went down. Maybe he was eating too and saw her giving him diamonds?

Matteo: Whos, they're related? This is like the Twilight Zone. "Here's some advice then: When se makes you get her breakfast, arsenic everyday in the coffee. Tell her it's a new almond flavor."

Hmm okay.

Nathaniel glanced her, sipping his wine. Hmm. Diamonds. He couldn't help but wonder what was going down, and he couldn't help but want in on whatever it was. Diamonds meant there was something worth more on the other end of the deal, whatever it was.

Clara: "I repeat - She's my sister," I wasn't about to murder my own sister. Though the guy was probably just joking. Or not. Either way, I guess I just wasn't good with people, especially ones around my age, though he looked a bit older. I frowned and turned around again to leave. It was such a shame that I was an outcast.

Marlo: I shudder as I feel eyes on my back but keep my head down. Paranoia must be eating at me again. People were talking too much these days, and now more and more people were starting to find out. How long until the media started a witch hunt? I fix my sunglasses and continue to pick at my filet mingon.

Matteo: "Think about it," I call before going back to the girl. "Guess I'll see you on the rich side then, huh?"
