The Fountain

Angelo: "Yes, Miss Glade," I say, although where am I supposed to get cake? The chefs are off today and the closest bakery is three miles away. "Anything else?"

Marlo: I pull up to the LeVoy's mansion and get out before the limo comes to a complete stop. I ring the doorbell and wait not a little annoyedly for someone to answer.

Meredith: "I also need a bowl of fruit loops, for Rachel, that you need to pick all the green ones out of. She can't stand that color, it reminds her of...well. Nevermind, but just pick them out."

Clara: The doorbell rings and the butler answers.

Butler: "Hello, Ma'm. Are you here to see the LeVoys?"

Angelo: I nod, distantly wishing I had a notepad to write it all down. I'm notorious for forgetting things. Grabbing my jacket from the servants closet, I start to wonder if I can squeeze in a trip to Dante's on the way. But I probably shouldn't. With al the things that are going on, it'd be way too risky.

Marlo: "Yes, please," I say as I try to keep the anger out of my voice.

Butler: "Do you have an appointment?"

Marlo: I take a hundred dollar bill from my purse and hand it to him. "Yes, of course," I say.

Butler: I gave her a wry smile and handed it back. "I'm sorry, but you will have to make an appointment and come back." I was very loyal to the LeVoys.

Marlo: Damn it, I need to speak with her now. "Fine then," I say coolly. "I'll make one with her now." And with that, I push past him and storm into the house. My memories a little hazy since the last time I was here was nearly two years ago, but her room should be just upstairs.

Butler: I sighed and pressed a button near the door. Two guards appeared, and followed her.

Clara: I stuck my head out of the kitchen. Wow, the guards were out? It had been ages. I guess that meant that a St. Claire (sp?) was lurking.

Marlo: Ironic how they send their guards on someone when they're the ones in the wrong. I find the door and start knocking. "Avril, open up," I say coolly.

Avril: I was lounging on my bed, though i had already gotten dressed. I had just wanted Clara to believe that she needed to make me breakfast. I rolled my eyes at Marlo's voice as I stood up, flicking off the tv. "Make me."

Marlo: "Fine. What I have to say to you won't take long anyway." I cross my arms and lean against the door. "Give me back the pieces. I know you had someone sneak into my home last night."

Avril: My brow furrowed. "I honestly have no idea what you're talking about, Marlo. I'm not the one that plays dirty, you are."

Marlo: "And I /don't/ have time for your games. So if you don't mind hurrying this up, I do have a husband to attend to." That evil, lying little snake! Still playing mind games with me, even when I've already won.

Avril: "Really, Marlo. I'm not playing games." My voice stayed steady.

Marlo: I feel a frown tugging at my lips. But if she didn't and Matteo didn't even know I was searching, then who..."I swear, if I find out you're lying..." I murmur.

Avril: "I swear on Dante that I'm not lying." I smirked. That was the ultimate swear, at least between us.

Marlo: "...Alright," I say slowly. "In that case, I'm sorry for interupting your morning." I turn towards the guards. "Do you mind moving? You're blocking the hallway."

Avril: I wanted to laugh at how pathetic she sounded, but restrained myself until the guards let her leave.

How can I jump in?

Angelo: After what seems like an eternity later, I come back in with an elaborate cake and the fruit loops they asked for. I dump the cereal into a bowl, cut a slice of cake, and start bringing everything up to the girls.

Rachel: "Where are m fruit loops?" I mumbled groggily when Mer came back.

Meredith: "The servant's getting them."

Rachel: I perked up, fixing my hair. "The cute servant?"

Meredith: I pulled a face. "He's poor, Rach! Ew."




I've decided Rachel is completely boy crazy.
