Cailey: I smirked. "Young pottymouth. Nice to see that again." I looked over at Derek and winked at him. Then I scribbled a note down.

Derek: I rubbed the back of my neck, an uncomfortable frown on my face.

Leah: I rolled my eyes, examining my nails.

Cailey: I laughed. "Uncomfortable yet?" I asked.

Derek: "Just a little." I looked around, trying to find an excuse to walk away.

(Cailey, the president of the council, gets the school board to allow her to "auction" off members for money who have to do whatever the person who buys them says for a week. Her best friend ends up getting auctioned off to her worst enemy instead of her boyfriend, and then it gets fun from there."

Cailey: I nodded. "That's what I thought. Could you do me a favor though, Derek?"

Leah: My jaw dropped and I stormed off.

Cailey: I frowned. "Derek!"

Derek: "What?" I smirked.

Cailey: I sighed. "Why did you two break up?" I decided to ask.

Derek: I shrugged. "Ask her."

Cailey: I rolled my eyes. "Yeah. I bet that would go over real well."

Derek: "She's the one who dumped /me/."

Cailey: I raised an eyebrow. "Didn't she give you a reason?"

Derek: I smirked. "Ask her."

Cailey: I laughed. "In case you haven't noticed, she doesn't like me very much. I'm not adding oil to a very large fire."

Derek: I shrugged. "I don't like you very much."

Cailey: I shook my head. "That's not the first impression I got from you."
