Changers - Away we run.

Ezra: I smiled a little. "I'm Ezra and that's Zo," I still liked "little birds" mostly because that's what they reminded me of.

Tal
I focus again, quieting as i study Ezra. "What's a...margay...?"

Ezra: I put up a finger motionin to wait. I stood up, changing into the medium sized cat, purring and then meowing loudly.

Mel
Tal stands and kneels down in front of him. Her look is one of childish wonder, like a kid seeing santa in the mall or something. She reaches out to him tentatively.

Ezra: I moved closer, rubbing my head against her palm and my tail flicked up and down happily.

Zo: "He seems to have taken a liking to her," I smiled.

Mel
Tal runs a light hand down his spotted fur. It's been forever since i've seen her truly carefree. I smile. "Her too."

Ezra: I curled up on the floor, next to her knees and blinked sleepily.

Zo: I smiled, seeing the effect they had on each other. "Do
either of you need food?" I asked Mel.

Mel
She stays quiet and still, running her hand down his back again. "You've done enough, i couldn't accept that..."

Zo: I chuckled. "Oh, please. I think we could all benefit from a meal," I said.

Mel
I don't protest, but i don't really like to accept it either. I sigh. "Tal?"
She looks up at me with a smile. I wish she could keep that look forever, but we're going to have to venture out sometime. "Margay's are handsome cats," she murmurs quietly.

Zo: "Well if you want, I can just offer you food later," I said, letting it go.

Ezra: I moved back and changed back, stretching. "Thank you, Tallie," I smiled.

Mel
"No...now's fine." Get it over and done with i guess...
Tal's smile wavers a bit, as if suddenly realizing there was a boy in that cat again. She suddenly shifts and flies to my shoulder, hides in my hair. I smile over at the small kestrel. "I didn't know you were one to get embarrassed, Tal."

Ezra: I gave a tight lipped smile. "I'm sorry," I said, looking down. Zo got up, walking to the kitchen. "Start some tea, too," I said.

Tal
I settle on the couch beside Mel before shifting back and curling up with her. "You did nothing," i whisper as she wraps an arm around me comfortingly.

Ezra: I smiled warmly at Tallie and nodded. "Okay," I said. "Nice to know I wasn't being offensive."

Mel
she turns and hides into my shoulder, blushing slightly. I give her a small smile. "No, of course not," i answer for her.

Ezra: I chuckled to myself and then heard the tea kettle sound in the kitchen. "Would either of you ladies like tea?" I asked.

Mel
Tal nods silently. "Alright," I say with a smile.

Ezra: I had Zo fix two cups and I went in to bring them back so Zo could carry bowls of soup. I pit my mouth to the rim of the cup, looking over at Tallie before taking a drink.

Tal
I take the cup and sip. Hot and stinging. I curl up with the mug, the ceramic frosting under my touch.

Ezra: I watched the frost on her mug melt quickly. It was cool, her power. I sighed and took another drink, letting the liquid roll around on my tongue.

I'm gonna leave for tonight.
