Changers - Away we run.

Xoe: "Does it have anything to do with us changers?" I asked him.

Ezra: "No. It has to do with family," I explained, but that was as far as i was going with it.

Xoe: I nodded, not pushing the topic any further. "So...what are you? You already know I am unwillingly a wolf. It would be nice to know that animals are around me."

Tal
I hold out my hand again, reveal another light brown feather.
"Tal's a kestrel. I'm a red tailed hawk," Mal fills in for me.

Ezra: "I'm a cat," I said.

Xoe: "and I'm guessing thats why you dont like wolves?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "What type of cat...wait dont tell me." I sniffed the air a couple times. The only good thing about being part wolf is that i have a great sense of smell. "margay, right?" Margays were so adorable...not that i would ever tell him that.

Ezra: i resisted the urge to roll my eyes. "No, that's not why i don't like wolves," I said matter-of-factly.

Xoe: I sighed, and leaned back against the wall again. "Why do you hate wolves then?"

Ezra: i shrugged. "I have my reasons. I'm not going to tell you," I said.

Xoe: "Better be some good reason for not wanting to tell anyone." I muttered. "Or some bad reason."

Mel
"Two by two...coming, coming, coming..." Tal murmurs. "The birds are chatty..." She pauses. "Hands of...blue...."

Ezra: "Why should my reason matter to you?" I asked incredulously. "Melanie, what is she talking about?" I asked cutting off conversation with wolf girl.

Xoe: "It matters because ever sense you found out that i was a wolf you act as if i am lower then dirt. I want a real reason as to why you hate me, or my animal kind."

Ezra: I kept my eyes on Tallie and Melanie then abruptly turned to her, but before I could say anything, there was a crash in the other room. I got up, running to see Zo lying on the floor in wolf form, twitching a little. I nearly laughed.

Mel
I pause, looking at Zo in surprise. "...Tallie?"
"We should go," she says quietly. "The birds...you hear them, Mel? Chatty...men with the blue lab gloves. Two by two. Here...they followed us. Right, Lee?" She looks up to him, oddly quiet over this time.

Xoe: "Laugh later, get out of the house now." I heard Lee say, ushering us to the back door. "Grab whatever you need and move." His voice was urgant.

Ezra: I laughed even harder. "Why are you panicking?" I asked. "Ain't you ever seen a sleeping dog?" I asked, kicking him in his monstorous ribs. He came awake with a loud roar and snapped his jaws.

Xoe: The roar made my wolf instincts come out and made me morph down. I was smallish for a wolf, and looked more like a white husky then a wolf. But, i was a wolf.

Lee: "Not that you idiot. They are coming." I exasperated.

Ezra: "Dont call me an idiot, especially in my own house," I said as Zo stood up. He was the size of a large horse, towering over the other wolf.

lee: "Fine. Im sorry. But getting out of this house would be a smart move." I told them, glaring down at Xoe. She snarled up to the bigger wolf, even though the thing was nearly twice her size.

Ezra: Zo was three times the size of the girl and I knew he could hurt her if he wanted to. He shook his shaggy head when the boy said to leave, but I shrugged. "Whatever," I said.

Lee: "Xoe, lets go." She growled at me. "now." She gave me a look of disgust.
you arent Tony. You cant tell me what to do. She said in my mind, snarling slightly.

Tal
I stand quickly, go to Ezra and take his hand. "Please, Mr. Margay? They aren't kind..." I'm shaking scared. "The Bad Things...they don't care..."

Ezra: My anger drained, looking at her. "Of couse Im going to go, little bird, just not in the same car as them," I said.

lee: I laughed horsely. "you think we are going by car...thats funny." I laughed, shaking my head. "this is NYC...you cant get anywhere by car. They will be ontop of us as soon as we hit the streets."
