The Unsinkable Ship

Victoria: Simon held my arm as we boarded the great Titanic from the disgusting dock. He escorted me to my quarters, as we had no family to send us off. We were meeting our parents in New York. I slid into my room, and he left. I'll go out when the ship leaves, as to avoid all of the fuss.

"Come on come on come on!" My sister was bouncing with excitement as we boarded, and then let go of my hand once we were on the ship. She made a beeline to our room, and all I could do was follow

Onyx: I walked myself and my dumber then rocks brother onto the grand boat. "This place is so...wow." he murmured with awe.
"This place is a death trap. there arent nearly enough life boats for everyone." I grumbled as we walked. We went to our first class room and settled in. "I'm going to explore for a bit. Please. Please. dont get into trouble." I stressed that point before leaving. I heard him mimic me as i left, and i sighed, shaking my head.

Gah...i always have the hardest time getting started

Simon: I left Victoria in her room as I went on deck to do a little bit of exploring. The Top deck was crowded with people going to say goodbye.

Jared started to unpack, and I slipped out the door, tearing down the hallway. We were on a ship! On water! This was SO much better then all the balls and stuff my parents made me go to

Onyx: I walked to the back deck leaning against the railing, looking down to the water below. yup. Death trap.

Simon: I stumbled across a girl leaning against a rail, all by herself. I walked up. "Good evening, Miss."

Onyx: I was mumbling softly to myself when a guy came up behind me. We wouldnt have enough life boats...not anwhere near the number we would need to save veryone if this boat sunk. The man cut off my train of thought, and I turned, slightly suprised to see him. "Hello, Sir."

Simon: "May I ask how you are this evening?" I asked.

Onyx: I glanced down to the water, then the rest of the deck before back to him. "I'm fine. A bit nervous, but fine." I said.

Simon: "Now why on earth would you be nervous on the famous unsinkable ship?" I asked coyly.

Onyx: "The numbler of life boats...I dont care if this thing is unsinkable. There arent nearly enough life boats for all of us. not enough by half. Wouldnt that make you nervous?" I asked, turning back to the rail, looking out at the ocean again.

Simon: "And what makes you such an expert in ship building?"

Onyx: "Well...nothing. But it's a simple puzzle. There are (incert number of passengers here) of us on this boat. And the life boats only fit (half of passengers). If this thing does sink, half of us are doomed, if not more."

Simon: "How on earth would a lovely lady like yourself find out such things? And why would you worry your pretty little head about it?" I said, leaning against a rail.

Onyx: "I figured it out because it was a puzzle. And all puzzles need to be solved. At least, they do for me." I glanced over at him and smiled. "I worry because thats the logical thing to do. It would be irational and foolish not to."

(ok, i can already tell that she is going to be a know it all character that gets on even my nerves....*sighs* well, at least its differnt then most of my girl charries)

Simon: "Let the men do the worrying dear. No need to wrinkle that beautiful face."

Onyx: I sighed and looked down. I hated when people told me not to worry. i have a tendancy to worry. My brother was dumb as a rock and had blind luck...Its not like he would be much help to me if anything happened.

Simon: "What's your name, miss?" I asked.

Onyx: "Onyx. And you, Sir?" I asked, looking up to meet his eyes.

Simon: "Mr. Simon Brady, at your service." I said, bowing.

Onyx: "Nice to meet you." I curtsied back.
