Hey, sorry that I've been MIA lately. My laptop wouldn't let me on the site for some reason. Oh, well. It's all better now =))

Dane thought about it for a moment. "Besides the living forever part? Not much." He watched her skip ahead in amusement.

I turn and walk backwards, smiling. "Not the strength or the speed?" I ask.

Dane smiled and gave out a small laugh. "Sure, I guess those are some perks." Without a second thought, he /moved/ so that he was only a few inches away from Sai, and his smile widened. "Personally, I like the speed more than the strength."

Sai
I smile still, not even flinching. "The same with being a Reaper, i suppose. Besides being able to see souls. It's easy for me to imitate a soul."

Dane raised his eyebrows, interested. "Oh really?"

Sai
I smile. "Souls are just energy. No limits to what they can do, technically. I can imitate that. Phasing, invisability, and minor teleporting. Though i have a limit on distance, and i cannot totally go undetected."

Dane nodded, taking a step back. "Still, that's impressive." He studied her for a moment. "How did you become a reaper, if you don't mind me asking?"

Sai
I turn and walk on. "Death pops by one day and offers you a job basically. It's rare that he gives the option though. He's not one to over employ people."

Dane snorted and followed her, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "So you chose to do this? You chose to be connected to death so closely?"

not a clue. she had said she might not be on much this weekend, but she was here yesterday.

"Not really /chose/. He doesn't give those he offers much of an other option."

Dane nodded, knowing exactly what she meant. It was like Lance, only Lance was a vampire. "I see," was all he said.

I nod silently, walking next to him.
