This isn't my body!

James- "Her problem is that she's the head cheerleader who gets what she wants. When she doesn't get it, she gets pissed off."

Alison: I laughed softly. "Well what about Lexi?" I asked quietly.

James- "Lexa? She's like the older sister that Alex always wanted. She will stop at nothing to protect Alex from anyone or anything but will still stand against Alex if she's knows that she's wrong."

Alison: I looked at him. "Tell me about your ex..." I said looking down.

James- "Alex... Alex is hard to describe. She has a lot of secrets, a complicated personality, a dark past... She's been hurt a lot in her life. Her dad used to beat her and her mom wouldn't do anything but watch because she was too scared to try to help. Then she watched as he killed himself- that traumatized her. Then her mom ran off with a guy and only returns home when she needs money. Alex practically lives with Lexa. She has anger issues and doesn't know what she wants to be. She's gone through so many stages- I mean from skater to punk to goth to cheerleader to loner to outcast to nerd to poser then back to punk bad-ass. She's just complicated and doesn't like to let herself get close to people. She was messed up too badly as a kid and now she can't be fixed. I was her best friend before we dated and I'm one of two people who knows everything about her. I witnessed a lot of things happen to her that I promised never to tell anyone. She doesn't mean to act the way she does, she just can't help herself," I tell her.

Alison: I nod. "You were her boyfriend and she loves you." I say leaning back feeling terrible.

James- "Hey. She's always loved me. Now the love is just a little bit different. I love her too but as a friend. That's why I broke up with her. Because she was my best friend and I wanted to keep it that way because it was the only way I knew how to love her. She's my past."

Alison: I nodded understanding. "Welcome to my world."

James- I give her a slight smile and kiss her cheek.

Alison: I sigh and look at him. "You are amazing James." I say truley meaning it

James- I smile. "And so are you."

Alison: I shake my head. "If you knew what kind of person I am in my own body you would hate me."

James- Can't be much worse than what I've already dealt with, I want to say.

Alison: I look at him. "My body is covered with scars.." I whisper

Max: I rolled my eyes. "Not about that!"

Alison: I looked at him. "Whatever."

James- I look her in the eyes. "I don't care if you have scarrs." ((Why'd she say whatever??))

Alex- "Well why can't we talk about a horse that could kill someone without even meaning to?! You have to admit that they are pretty amazing." I nod my head.

Alison: I looked at him. "You should..."

Max: I shrugged. "I just thought you had other things you might want to talk about."

James- "But I don't," I tell her

Alex- "You mean like how every guy I've ever been with breaks up with me after a month? Or how after breaking up with me, the next girl they're with seems to be 'the one'? Or how I've pretty much given up on relationships because of all that, but despite what I just said, I still just can't stand always being alone?" A tear rolls down my cheek.

Max: I sighed. I really stunk at comforting people, but I had to try. I patted her back. "I know. My girlfriend was kissing my best friend five minutes after she broke up with me."

Alex- I wipe away the tear and look at him. "I'm sorry. That's terrible." I sigh. "Now I feel bad for dumping all that on you..."

Max: I shrugged. "I don't want sympathy. I just wanted to let you know I understand what you're going through."

Alex- I sigh and lay back, throwing the pillow over my face again.

Max: "Tired?" I asked.
