Daren
I put my cue stick on the table and go over to her. "You worried for him?"

Kendall: I blinked, but the sadness didn't leave my eyes. I rubbed my arm and bit my lip. "A little. I miss him, though, on top of it..."

Daren
I hesitantly reach out and brush her hair back. "I'm sure he's fine."

Kendall: "I hope so," I said quietly, biting my lip lightly and looking down. Just thinking about my brother made me a little sad.

if ende's creeping: Your girl can talk to my guy if you want back in on the thread, since Bonez won't be back until the third

Daren
I frown slightly, seeing her sadness. "Sorry," i murmur

Kendall: "It's alright, I...I shouldn't have mentioned it, anyway." I cleared my throat, looking up and stepping back a little, seeing as we had ended up so close. "So...you won. Did you want a medal or something?" I forced a smile.

Daren
I tilt my head questioningly. "A metal?" I ask, laughing.

Kendall: "Just an expression." I laughed lightly. "We weren't playing for a prize, anyway, so..."

Daren
"Aw, man. That's saddening!" I chuckle jokingly.

Kendall: I smiled, about to say something but then a group of drunk-ish looking guys came up, wanting to use the table. I held back a grimace, handing off my cue and motioning for Daren to follow me away from the drunks. I hated drunks...

Daren
I exchange a few words, leaving with her. One thing i've learned is that drunks get sensitive. You shouldn't totally ignore them.

Kendall: "Why did you talk to them?" I said in a low voice, my brow furrowed.

Daren
"Fairly experienced with drunks, thanks to Chilli's. Some don't like to be ignored," i murmur back, subconsciously putting a protective arm around her and looking behind us just in case one decided to find something to be offended about at us.

Kendall: I blinked, a little surprised, when he put his arm around me, though he hadn't seemed to even noticed he'd done it. I didn't shrug if off, though, just smiled a little. And were those...butterflies? In my stomach? My smile widened fractionally. "Oh. Thankfully I don't have experience with them. My parents let me skip out on their parties after this one guy, one of their artist friends, attempted to grope me...I was 12..." I shuddered a little.

Daren
"Oh jeez," i chuckle. I realize i have my arm around her but she didn't seem to care. "I swear i never get that drunk. At most buzzed, that's it."

Kendall: "That's good, I mean, I don't think I could really hang around you if you were /that/ kind of a drunk."

Daren
"Of course not. One and a half beers and i'm done." i chuckle. "Any more then that and i sleep in my car."

Kendall: "Good for you, drunks are awful k-" I blinked. "Nevermind." Had I just about to say kissers? Whoops. "Drunks are awful k...uhm," I tried to patch up my sentence with a different word, but couldn't think of anything.

Daren
I chuckle. "It's fine, it's fine." I think i knew the word anyway. "Is that a universal fact?"

Kendall: "From my experience, yeah." I'd only kissed one drunk guy, though.

Daren
I smile. "Alright," i say simply still walking with her. "Where we going anyways?"

Kendall: "Outside. I'm sick of listening to them suck face," I nodded at the circle of people playing spin the bottle, and then the circle for the seven minutes in heaven. "And I don't like drunks, as you know."

Daren
I nod, heading out with her and study the stars.

Kendall: "You know the big and little dippers, right?" I asked, following his eyes as I pulled the door shut behind us.
