Sophie: Just then, I bumped into a boy. "Oh, sorry!" I exclaimed.

Jacquie: I smile, grateful to see a familiar face. "Hey, Sophie! How goes it?"

Ginny: I return Sophie's wave. I'm just so happy to be back!

Alex: "Quite alright, no worries." I said quickly.

Sophie: "I'm great," I said to Jacquie before turning to the guy I'd run into. "Hi." He was pretty cute. Was he in my year?

Jacquie: I'm about to respond but realize that Sophie is talking to a guy. He's cute. Probably not my type. I wonder if he's athletic? But it's clear that Sophie also finds him attractive, and so I walk away. I wouldn't want to interrupt the two of them when they're flirting.

Sophie: I nudged Jacquie. "How was your summer?"

Jacquie: Inwardly, I smile. I'm not being kicked out! "Ah, it was good. I got a lot of soccer playing in with my mates. Played a lot of sports really. And I got a few nasty bruises too! You?"

Sophie: "Spent time helping mum clean the house. Ugh."

Jacquie: "Aw, that sucks. I'm sorry. At least you don't have a naggy grandmum to live with. Now they're annoying."

Alex: "Hello." I said to the girl. She was attractive, in a cute way.

Erica: I said goodbye to Hagrid for the time being, and snaked, through the crowd, and bumped into a redheaded Gryffindor girl. "Oh, I'm so sorry!"

Sophie: I nodded. "I suppose," I said. I turned back to the guy. "You're in my year, right?"

(haha nice subtle weaving in of Ginny.)

Alex: "It depends. Are you a sixth year?"

Sophie: I nodded. "Yes. You're not in my house, though."

Alex: "No, I'm a Gryffindor."

Sophie: "How do you know I'm not in Gryffindor?"

Alex: "I would've recognized you if you were." I smiled coyly.

Sophie: I raised an eyebrow, surprised by his reply. "Okay. What house do you think I am in, then?"

Can I join, or is it too late?

Alex: "Hmm.... well I've seen you at Quidditch games in the Ravenclaw stands. So if I were to take a guess, I'd say Ravenclaw."

(sure. you don't have to do both, though. I should probably make another character...)

Sophie: I nodded. "Yes, I'm from Ravenclaw." I pointed at the train. "We should probably get in."
