CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

"Milo," I say firmly, looking over at him. "You think I don't understand? I know what they're all going through best, not that that's making me feel any better."

"Alright, I just need Ami right now. I need you to stay focused." Milo dropped his hand from her shoulder and walked away to talk to Angel.

I play with a strand of my hair, looking at my fidgeting hands. Ami needs Milo right now, but i wasn't about to say it. How can he shrug it off so easily? While, to me it feels like a giant gap in my chest. Sarah looks over, bothered by my thoughts, but doesn't say anything.

What'd I miss?

erm... nothing much. Senet beat up Red Wing pretty good, but almost died so his soul took over his body. I'm still a little fuzzy on those details...

and things on the other side of the story are finally getting motivated...

((I'll explain the switching places bit.

Basically, when a soul starts taking over senses and bodily functions, they become so connected to the material world that they're actually pulled over to it. Since the life and the soul cannot exist in the same space, the life is pulled to the demi-plane (where souls exist). A new body is constructed for the soul using the elements and molecules from the life's body, which puts the life's body in stasis, pretty much. The soul must then concentrate to maintain this form, or the life and soul will revert to their natural forms. All the life's injuries will still be there, which is why it's so important for the soul to concentrate.))

Yup, I decided he's starting to become a bonder. You said it happens the more they believe in souls, but the way Cricket's mind works is that he blocks out the bad stuff he doesn't want to think about, including the whole almost-dying incident. That's why it's taken so long; he needed a small reminder. Also, about the solid-view thing, I figured since he's not quite there yet (and might not want to be) he should only see faint, fleeting images every now and then. Temporarily. Is that okay?))

Cricket stepped forward, thinking. "Wait...there was another girl...Marley, I think it was. She's in a similar situation, helped Em an' me almost escape. What about 'er?"

"Five Nons?" I asked. "This'll complicate things... Give me a moment. Nike and Sarah are standing by." For one second, I unmasked my signature and let my power flare up before hiding it again. "Three, two, and--"
CRACK!
The remaining two members of the team stood behind us, taking battle stances.
"At ease," I said; they relaxed.
"What's the problem?" Sarah asked.
"We've got too many people to shift them all out," I answered with a shrug. "Oh, and this is Aiolii." Their faces darkened at the implications, so I nodded to say, "Yes, it's what you think."
"Where are all these people, then?" Nike inquired.
"That's what we have to figure out." With a brusque clap of my hands, I said, "Let's get moving, shall we?"

((Nike is Asian (sleek, black hair and dark eyes), a little on the tall side, and 18. She, like the rest of the team, is wearing dark colors. Her soul is a black bear with jade eyes.

Aiolii's human form (since I never described that) has very light hair and amber eyes (though I think I mentioned the amber bit). I already said that she's wearing khakis; she has a green shirt to match. No particular reason for that. She's about average height.))

(gah, IDK what Emily said last, so I'll just have Marley kinda chill out)
Marley: "Chill out? I'm in an underground government lab, and I've been both tortured and experimented on today, and you want me to chill out?!"

Aw, poor Marls. Shall we go find her first? And what's the plan? I think we should give the other side of the story a chance to walk into the trap, so maybe we get caught again? and then once everyone is there we shift out. Any other ideas?

"I've no idea where they've taken anyone else, but my guess is either a lab like this one, an interrogation room or solitary confinement. Well...there's also th' doctors, but I hope no one's been hurt enough t' be there." Cricket frowned, but it was quickly replaced by determination. He would get out this time. "Where first?"

Well, they could crawl through the vents or something... hm... oh, or Marley and Cricket could just like, get captured and talk or something... IDK, but I'm kinda bored, and may torture Marley here in a sec...

Hah. That sounds so demented Ende. Yeah I think it'd be fun to have Marls and Crick talk.

xD I totally wore myself out yesterday, slept about 7 hours, and guzzled a redbull. I FEEL demented. *dramatic laughter* so yea, should he just go to the doctor's thing and find her just kinda chilling?

Hm, sure...although what about BW and WD? Their charries just suddenly dissapear from the scene?

Cricket looked around as they left the room. "Meet back 'ere. I'll check this way, you check down there," he murmered, and dissapeared down a hall. It look familiar.

Then I went to and air vent and worked the cover off, climbing in
