Rules/Clarifications:
- Your characters can either be existing charries, such as Robin, KF, etc - or your own.
- In both cases, YOUR MENTOR MUST EXIST IN THE COMIC WORLD - that means DC or Marvel!
- Please know your character if you want to impersonate them. Their personality and lives to this point basically.
- As you see, I am Dick Grayson, and Ende is Tim Drake but Jason Todd is available to be Robin in this version if you so desire since Grayson will be Nightwing, and Drake is the current Robin.
- You can play older heroes as well, like with Ende and Green Arrow and me with Batman, though they will probably be used less then the younger ones.

I walked down the halls of the Asylum silently, glancing at each door before I found hers, the one I had gone into every day for the past I wasn't sure how long. I turned the key and entered silently "Chelsea?" I asked softly

I sit on the bed, curled up and facing the corner. They had said the worst was over, but they could not see what I saw. I study my arm and leg, newly out of the cast after healing. How long did that take? I watch my nightmares touch me and hurt me. I /know/ it's not real, but it still hurts. It's something I've sickeningly gotten used to though. I hear my name and turn studying him a moment. He's still insistent on calling me that. I suppose it's another thing i've gotten used to though.

Robin
I walked over to stand beside the bed she was on, and after a few moments of deliberation, pealed off my mask slowly. I didn't face the cameras in the room, and she already knew, so why not? Maybe it would help, somehow. I just wanted to help

Inque
I reach out tentatively and touch him, taking his hand gently and giving a soft smile. Physical and not just another nightmare. I had seen him die too many times over the weeks...months? I flinch as a thing comes up and bites onto my arm. I watch the blood go to the ground and pool

Robin
I returned her smile, then followed her gaze to the ground, knowing she probably was having another halusination. Why hadn't they found a cure for the toxin yet, I wondered, looking back at her face as my smile turned sad

Right, he can't see it. I try to ignore all that's around us, meeting his eyes again. I lightly pull him closer, taking his mask and fitting it back on his face. "How are you today?" I ask quietly.

Robin
I knelt right beside her bed, my arms crossed in front of me as I watched her "Oh, fine. Nobody will trust me on any kind of important mission, still" I sighed, slight irritation seeping into my voice "How are you?"

Inque
I shrug, my hands fidgeting in my lap. To me they're covered in cuts that burn like acid is being put in them. I couldn't draw, a nightmare that was technically reality. I haven't been able to hold a freaking pencil since they put me here. "...Hurts...I don't like what I see. Can't sleep." i feel tears in my eyes again. "Just...trying to hold on."

Robin
I very, very lightly traced a finger on her hand, studying them carefully. I knew her hands caused her a lot of pain, and I was thinking "Is there /anything/ I can do?" That was one question I asked every single day

Inque
I sniffle, crawling down from the bed and curling up with him on the floor. "Don't leave again," i whisper, my voice small. Stupid visiting hours. My vision suddenly blacks out again, but he's close and he's warming.

Robin
I held her gently "I won't, I swear" I whispered, "And Chelsea?" Or was she already asleep?

Inque
I lean into him grateful for a physical being. For someone else to just hold me, protecting me from my nightmares. I feel like I'm four again. "Hmm?" I mumble, closing my eyes to make the darkness seem normal instead of blinding. It's the least I can do to prevent freaking on Robin...again...

Robin
"Oh, nevermind" I sighed, still not having the courage to say it. I stroked her hair slightly, holding her even close,r, but gently like she was a glass doll.

Inque
I want to look up and see him but the blackness never goes away so soon. "What?" I whisper.

Robin
"Nothing, I told you" I murmured, watching her face, and her unfocused eyes

Inque
"You're hiding something," i say, a small giggle coming. A normal giggle, and it's so sweet to hear. Was it even funny? I suppose not sleeping for some three days in a row does that to me then. I was so exhausted, but the nightmares would scream when i tried to go to bed. When I do manage to go unconscious, whether it be exhaustion or the doctors, the nightmares are always worse. And then these living nightmares take after them.

Robin
Her giggle, her natural, untainted giggle, made me smile "Don't worry about it." Then worry creased my face "Chelse, when was the last time you slept?"
